PERFECT for my needs
I bought this photography studio box with one purpose in mind: To photograph an 80s toy collection I have. The pictures have been coming out amazing in no small part due to the kit's lighting and background. I am just using a cell phone, so I'm sure a professional photographer could get better results.I love how the sides and 'front' are reflective which helps the LEDs above to give amazing lighting. The backgrounds are simple in tone, but easy to swap out. And I love that the light is adjustable. I'm unsure what this white sheet is that came with it, but over all, I am thrilled, and am finding it was worth the money for this project alone.Though I am sure I will find further use for it in the future.

The best impulse buy I've made in a long time
I've recently started listing things on Etsy. Sometimes my photos come out very nice, sometimes they don't. Some day the sun works with me other days I just throw my hands up and am like who did I make angry for this to go so poorly? So I started considering a background and a couple of lights for consistency which helped but didn't solve it. I had that duh, a lighting box moment and started looking on Amazon. I almost picked up a flimsy foldable plastic one because I needed something for testing for 13 dollars seemed like an okay test price. But the version, while still cheap plastic like the box of a barbie or action figure, with the ability to control the brightness of the light was about 20 dollars. So I changed my search keywords a bit and this guy popped up. I really like that there is a front face that can either be fully opened or opened in a small square. I liked the circle light with the options of diffuser and different brightness settings.I liked the size of it took. Not quite a cubic foot as that is way too large for what I photograph, but not an 8 inch cube that feels cramped. It is surprisingly sturdy and nice feeling. I love that the backgrounds arent black, white and neon primary colours that are a weird, thin textured fabric. It folds nicely and fits back into its little tote bag, and actually folds nicely enough that it can be placed back inside of its box.If youre thinking about it, I highly recommend this one.

Great quality and value
Nice size for desktop. Awesome light diffusers and a wide variety of background colors/materials. Overall quality is far superior to the Travor booth that we bought previously. Definitely a great value for the reasonable cost. It's super easy to set up and take down. Very happy with this product!

Product quality is good
It's ok but we are finding it too awkward to use.We thought that we needed this photo cube to photograph handmade glass objects (to share project updates with clients and potentially to take product photographs to list for sale.)It is hard to take photos that look just right. The built in light ring at the top of this photo cube is effective, but considering that we are dealing with glass it doesn't quite work that well for us.What we would like to see as an improvement to the cube would be MORE velcro options inside the cube. The cube comes with several different colored backdrops and they have velcro spots on the corners, whereas the corresponding velcro spots inside the cube are very limited and only arranged to stick/velcro the backdrop on one top back to bottom orientation. It isn't always possible to get the backdrop to 'drape' without reflecting the light in an undesired way.It would give us more control if it was set up so that the backdrops could be arranged from the left side, across the back wall and to the right side (does that make sense to you reading this?)Anyway. The product (photo cube) is fine, but we realised that it doesn't exactly cater to our needs.Build quality: very decent. Surprisingly stable considering the size. Easy to set up.But I feel that this cube is better suited for setting up and leaving in cube format, rather than packing it away after every use. That might just be my preferences talking.LIGHT: One issue we have is that we can't leave the light on for more than a few minutes or it will automatically shut off. I assume this is to prevent overheating. It does interfere with the workflow further (in addition to wrestingly the backdrops to NOT reflect light unevenly). The light doesn't light the backdrop evenly. For us this has been a bit of an issue. However, if you can leave your photocube set up (instead of taking it down and folding the backdrops each time) then the backdrops may have time to settle and smooth out more, reducing the noticable uneven light at the back of the cube.I still think this could be very useful, it depends what type of product you are going to put inside of it and the scale of the product.I recommend getting a spinning LIzzie / very low spinning cake stand or other type of slightly raised platform to make it easier to photograph your item in the cube. (something like a lid of a craft box would work)We decided to keep the cube despite it not covering our needs 100%.We also have a smaller one by the same brand. I hope that it is clear that the brand and product are ok and that my somewhat critical feedback may say almost more about our specific use case than the photo cube.

Terrible
This arrived with all bent backdrops so it’s useless.
