I don't use these for every morning workout, but some mornings knowing that I have a little extra "artificial energy" on tap when needed makes the difference between getting kitted up for a session or hitting the snooze button. I've tried various options: powdered "pre workout" I found difficult to dose effectively and made me very jittery; and "energy drinks" like Monster can upset my stomach. I keep coming back to these shots since they allow a precisely calculated dosage each time and give me assurance. Some of the ingredients in this are of somewhat questionable efficacy according to research papers I can find on PubMed etc, but the caffeine and beta-alanine are definitively proven effective and at appropriate dosages. Obviously this product is not for those with caffeine sensitivity, so caution should be taken when using for the first time or if you know coffee makes you jittery. I didn't personally experience any tingling effect from the beta-alanine that I know many people report, I don't know why. Taste-wise all these products taste very sharp which is unavoidable due to the ingredients, but the flavour does a relatively good job of masking it here. I think the flavour reminded me of 'Refreshers' sweets (can you still get those?!). In terms of value, I would like to see these closer to £1 per shot, but they remain relatively good value compared to other options especially given the relatively high level of caffeine per bottle (350mg). I will buy these again and recommend them to anyone who is not highly sensitive to caffeine.

Used loads of pre workouts over the years and these are up with the best of them.I buy these and save loads, instead of buying them at the gym.

£1.30 a go rather £2.0 at the garage, good balanced hit for that 6am left session, no bad weird sides either.

Slightly bitter taste but not too bad and does taste of candy. Gives me the kick i need before a workout

Wow super sweet, burning in the tounge and strangely made my itch all over. No rush to try it again.

Loved the taste , nice for a burst of energy, felt nice and tingly and ready for action. Felt energized. Loved that it has 10g protein in it. Was not too sour tasting, easy to drink. Will buy again soon
