LaBrinx Designs Extra Large Wide Hanging Turtle Ramp - Aquatic Reptile Basking Platform

The media could not be loaded.  My shipment came on the estimated date. It was packed in a box with styrofoam surrounding entire content. Item was still damaged but I left a message with the seller. Before I even checked for a reply a new one was at my front door. Thanks that makes a happy turtle and buyer.Our turtle is about 2 .5 years old and he has grown. I have upgraded his tank and basking dock many times. I have found his docks usually get in the way of his swimming,eating and comfort. They are bulky, break, suction cups fall off, get lost or don't work! Eventually they don't stay completely out of the water for proper basking. This dock is the large size which my turtle has out grown the other large docks I previously purchased. I like the clear design because its a clean look allowing for visibility of the tank and animal. The grip strips are a wonderful addition. I would recommend that the designer makes a few adjust with how it could adhere better or a more bendable grip that grabs and sticks to the angle better. Mine was sticking up at all the ends of each grip prior to use. Thats Ok, I tried to push them down to see if they might stick . Seemed to help some but if they need replaced its a small job for such a great product. The plastic/acrylic feature is strong and durable. I did have to play around with adjusting the depth about 3 or 4 times. Would be extra nice if they could redesign a slide and pull arm with a notch or peg, instead of screw adjustments on all 4 arms with 2 screws each. The screws are so tiny and hard to see inside when trying to place into position. I like the idea nothing is sharp. My turtle loves the room he has now he loves to follow us around. Now he can do his basking without sinking ,too. Myrtle the turtle gives it 5 crickets. I would definitely recommend it, the investment now will save future replacements and it provides a better dock.

I have struggled with inferior ramps for my 55 gallon breeder for years. Most were made out of plastic but would last a year or two max. This particular ramp provides an easy way for the turtles to access the basking area and accommodates two full grown mud turtles. Easy on easy off! You can adjust the height of the ramp so the basking area can be completely dry while still allowing the turtles to access it easily. The ramp is clear plastic and very sturdy. It mounts to the side of the tank and your cover will still fit over it. Highly recommended!

I have a 40 gallon breeder and this XL basking area is perfect in every sense. The dimensions are just right, though I will caution you that you’ll need to play with it a little to get it inside the tank when putting the pieces together. I struggled in doing so at first, but once I figured out how I wanted it (level wise), the reward far exceeded all the time I spent assembling it. The new ramp model is lovely. I love the grip and sturdiness of it. It has a durable feel to it that immediately drew me in, which, to be honest, was one of the reasons I chose this brand. I love the looks of the platform as well. It sits pretty in the tank and allows my turtle to have more room to swim. You can tell this design was carefully thought of and made. My turtle loves it too! I put it all together yesterday after carefully disinfecting it and today was the first time I got to enjoy seeing her basking (since having her.) (I’ve only had her for about a week *happy tears* :’). I had to get her the best and this basking platform is it for us. The media could not be loaded.  Very sturdy and easy to install, been looking for month on finding a new basking platform for Boba, I’d figure buying a bigger one for him since eventually will get bigger and won’t have to upgrade ever again. Well look no further, this thing does the job it needs and I won’t be having to upgrade because this thing will fit any tank size. Only thing I wish was the handles weren’t so wide where it holds on, my lid for the top stick up a little bit but that’s something I can get over and for that I removed a star. Highly recommend getting this!

So impressed with the LaBrinx product AND their customer service. I had an issue with my platform (totally due to my own error) and they replied and sent me a replacement part immediately.I use this platform with turtles I'm rehabbing for a local vet school. Often times I have to adjust the height of the platform dependent upon each turtle's size and physical abilities. Instead of using the plastic screws to attach the platform legs, I switched over to tiny zip ties and that has made the change process a LOT easier. (I found that the plastic screw heads were stripping over time.)I also drilled a couple of holes in the platform itself . This allowed air to escape so it didn't have a bubble of air caught under the platform and also provided a drain for any water that got on the platform.

Broke after 2 wks of Turtles using it.Only good for very small Turtles.

After years of trying tons of dock and ideas… finally, one that will hold my heavy turtle up and he will actually go on it. lol Also, (wide) fits perfect in my 55 gallon breeder tank.

I have a shy little musk turtle who spends most her time underwater. After some time with this installed in the tank I finally see her taking the time to bask, which I think is great for her! I've tried other basking items but the well-designed ramp and overall structure REALLY make the purchase worth it.She doesn't necessarily use the flat part all the way up top, however she loves the ramp and being close to the water while still being able to chill and bask at least for a little while! The angle of the ramp is perfect for climbing aboard, and it's long enough that she can easily start at the end in the water and work her way up.All in all very sturdy and very easy setup. Hasn't moved an inch and she moves everything if she can, lol!Seriously thrilled with this product!

It came earlier than expected, and the turtle loves it! So far there's no issues with the tape, and it comes with an extra screw incase you lose one. I will definitely recommend this product to my friends!

Excellent platform. Turtles can easily climb up the ramp. Allows them to get fully out of the water and sturdy enough to hold my two fully grown red eared sliders (when they climb on top of each other)

Easy to set up. Seems pretty solid. Would like it if the sides where a dark colour, our turtles run into the side of it when startled

The product is overall good, suction cups are no problem for hooking, but the black stripes peel of in the water which should be improved. and how to fix it?

This is the most practical turtle basking platform I have ever tried. Winnie loves it.
