Helpful!
I use these magnets to help when putting in my very small hearing aid batteries. They are extremely useful for this, but I only gave 4 stars as they’re a bit big compared with a previous magnet which I used and lost. The previous magnet actually came in a Christmas cracker and was sturdy and small. These do the job but would prefer something half the size.

Decently strong magnetic hold
The media could not be loaded. I really like just how compact these are.The size of them gave me doubts that they would be very good at “Sticking(Magnetically)” to anything that was too heavy, however as my video shows, using my “Keys” as an example, these are more than capable of picking up a fairly considerable weight in my opinion, even at “Full extension”, which I find impressive.I love the fact that these are very easy to put into my pocket, be that trouser, or even shirt, they are smaller than most pens, shorter and thinner, and they are very light weight. All in all, the fact that there are 4 in the pack, 2x black, and 2x silver, is great.Very useful, very helpful in my opinion, they even have a pocket clip, which is great.

Perfect for picking up metal cutting dies for card crafting
The media could not be loaded. I have a metal die cutting machine, which I use for making greeting cards and I am for ever dropping the metal dies onto our hard floor. My long nails and mobility difficulties make it very challenging to retrieve the thin metal dies from the floor, so rather than my husband having to continuously pick them up for me, he suggested that I use a magnetic rod. He has always had a similar tool in his garage, which he finds very useful to pick up any small engine bolts etc, that he drops when working on the engine of his classic car. These magnetic rods are well-made and thin enough to fit in between really small gaps. The telescopic ability has a good extending length from approx. 5 inches up to 25 inches. The magnetic force of these rods is strong enough to pick up even my larger sized metal dies and at the current price of £7.19 for a pack of four, they only work out at a cost of approx. £1.80 each, which, I think, makes them good value. My husband has already “borrowed” two of these rods to keep in his toolbox and I have kept the last spare one for myself!

very strong
The media could not be loaded. 4pcs Telescopic Pick Up Tools, Jagowa Magnetic Sticker Extendable Handheld Stick Retrieval Pen for Pickup Screws Nuts Black SilverThese are the sorts of tool kit items you don't realise you need - until you need one! The number of times over the years I have dropped a miniscule screw somewhere almost impossible to reach. I am amazed at how strong the magnets are on these small sticks, very impressive picking up power.I tested one of the magnetic rods on a necklace and it had no trouble picking it up. The rods extend to a length of 26 inches/ 66cm which is ample for my needs which is reaching tinned food at the top of my cupboards! Very happy to recommend.UPDATE: It would appear to also make a good cat toy - Daisy loves it, been keeping her entertained for ages!

4 for less than 7 quid
Pros- 4 of them.. good to have around the garage and house!- pretty strong magnetically considering- easy to use- clip for daily carryingCons- maybe a little short for use in some cases- not the absolute sturdiestFor the price you're paying here, it's a pretty decent little set even with the cons. To have one in multiple places where you're likely to drop stuff is pretty handy. You can always carry one on you as well since they have little pen clip style things. They're pretty strong for the stuff you would be using these on. No problem with keys unless your set of keys is massive. A normal set is fine. Screws works great with it and other smaller bits from a garage etc.The magnet is strong than I was expecting for it's size and price range. It's not the strongest you can get but for general use it should be enough.Super easy to use. Doesn't take a lot of force to extend or retract it.The additional pen style clip is super nice so you can stick on a pocket or a part of your shirt if you're doing stuff. You never have one when you need one so you might as well carry one at all times if the opportunity is there!Only minus points is the length to be honest. And they don't feel the best quality metals used but again, within general use I think they'll be fine for a fair amount of time. As long as you treat them carefully and don't over burden them.4 for less than 7 quid, what's not to like!

Small but surprisingly strong
You know the score, you're in the workshop tinkering with an essential tool, then pling! There goes the adjustment widgety thing and it's always a totally unique size and shape. But it either lands just out of arms reach or ends up behind the most immovable object in the shop. It's one of the unwritten rules of having a workshop. Which usually results in anyone in vicinity learning just how colourful the english language can be! But with this handy little gadget... cuss no more!Little is the optimum word here, these are a lot smaller than other pickup tools. Measuring 13cm when folded up and 65cm when extended, but don't be fooled by the size. Being small makes these well suited for narrow spaces. They can easily hold nails, screws, pins, bolts, screwdriver bits etc. Plus they can hold tools like small socket bits and small spanners. They can even carry the weight of a very small hobby vice, though can't quite manage a full can of baked beans. All are the same size and all have pocket clips. 2 are rubber - useful for greasy hands, 2 are plain steel.Plus I could see this being used in other ways. Such as wheelchair users being able to pick up keys.Or modellers could add tacky wax and pick up bits of model from the carpet monster.
