Works perfectly
Had ankle surgery so in splint and wraps for 7-10 days. This has been a life saver to shower. Comes out of the package looking like a regular plastic bag and i was wondering what did I spend my money on? Well the thing stretches open to fit around large wraps and keeps my bandages dry. Used it for three showers so far and it’s working perfectly. Plus I have a back up bc it’s a two pack. Obviously showering is difficult in my condition but this at least makes in possible. 100% recommend.

Amazingly, it works perfectly
I’m not one to write many reviews, but occasionally there’s a thing that’s so awful or so unexpectedly wonderful that I think it’s worth trumpeting. This product falls into the latter category. The bag is not partly thick, has no markings or special features. It doesn’t cost a lot, especially if you get a two-pack. It’s kind of just a plastic bag — how appropriate could it be for protecting a part of your foot or leg that can’t get wet, right? The last time I needed a cast cover, I bought one for about $15 that had a blue seal at the top of it. This time around, I rolled the dice for a simpler and way less expensive product (under $5 each of two bags, on Prime Day). This thing works exactly as well — ZERO water getting in — and is significantly easier to get on and off. Looking at this product, you expect it’s not gonna do the job, and you’re gonna end up using at least the second one to wrap up leftovers. Honestly, it’s a slam dunk choice as a safe, easy, reusable (probably within some limits — 20 showers maybe? Not there yet) and completely effective leg water barrier. I’d give it 10 stars if I could. One potential caveat: I’d avoid walking around on rough surfaces before or after showering/bathing/swimming. I imagine a highly textured pool deck surface, for instance, might produce a tear. But a tiled or smooth floor surface has been fine for me as I’ve gotten in and out of the shower. As always, your mileage may vary, but this product is a home run for me.

Does the job but could be better
When I first got this and read the directions, they really didn’t make a lot of sense. But after putting it on my leg, I figured out what needed to be done. It says after it’s on pull each side, but what it should say is to pull each side and pull slightly down so that creates a downward seal. There is no adjustment on the tightness around my leg,, so I had to move it to a different position so that didn’t hurt when it was on. It did not get my bandage on my foot wet at all. If this was adjustable around my leg, I would buy it again but since it isn’t, I would prefer an adjustable one.

Great for keeping dressings dry!
I bought this 2-pack of NITTIID Waterproof Cast Covers to keep the wound dressings on my legs dry while showering. I was initially skeptical about how well the elastic seal would hold up, but it’s actually been very effective. I ended up cutting off the foot portion so I could wash my feet and used hair ties to secure the bottoms (like boot bands) for extra protection. No water gets in, and they've held up well for over a week so far. Hoping they last another month or two until I’m fully healed. Definitely worth it for short-term wound care.

Recommended by my Dr
I had foot surgery back in February and this was recommended by my Dr to get to be able to shower. They work very well at keeping the water out, very easy to use, very durable, and so good at keeping the water out I was even able to use them in the swimming pool at physical therapy. My foot only got a little moisture in the pool. I was already healed but still had steri strips over incision area. And the fit, it will fit over a surgical Boot. Although I recommend not using over the boot because the first one I tore it trying to it get back off.

Just OK
I recently had to have a cast on my foot and was looking for an economical cast protector for showering. I purchased this item based on several 5-star reviews and the price. The product is advertised as being 100% waterproof, but I found that this was not the case. The first time I used it, water leaked inside the cast. I was very careful to follow the instructions, but I still had problems. After that, I had to use cellophane to wrap around my cast to completely waterproof it. This was not ideal, as it was difficult to get the cellophane to stay in place and it made it difficult to get in and out of the shower. I also found that the product was not very comfortable to wear. It was tight and constricting, and it made it difficult to move my leg. Overall, I was disappointed with this product. It is not as waterproof as advertised and it is not very comfortable to wear. I would recommend a different product that has more reviews and a higher positive percentage rating. Here are some additional pros and cons of the product: Pros: Affordable Reusable Lightweight Cons: Not 100% waterproof, which is the purpose of purchasing
