Ok, these went nowhere near any hair!Bought for conversion into stage props for productions of West Side Story and The Ladykillers.They open with a nice snap, the comb teeth are robust. The teeth are cut very square - not so good as a comb, but great for filling in (coloured epoxy adhesive, in case you were wondering).The whole thing seems quite robust, and so far have proved to be cast-proof (actors are the bane of a prop-maker's life!)I will probably buy some more for stock.

The prongs are too thick to actually be of any use to you. They tend to push your hair down rather than go in between. Cool novelty though, I guess.

Real good quality for the price.Weighty, has a safety lock. Spring is powerful.Decent product overall. Probably wouldn't use it on long hair, as the comb teeth is metaland would hurt if you tried to comb.
