A tremendous value!
This knife is an incredible value and can fill so many cutting needs. Sharp out of the box with a stout blade, this makes a wonderful bushcraft or general utility blade. Very well made!

Great yet inexpensive knife
First impression was "It looks cheap". But upon further inspection it is certain that it's nothing of the sort. It has a razor sharp tough blade, a tough and sticky grip rubberized handle and the hard plastic sheath is well thought out to secure the knife in it or on you belt or other fastener without a chance of falling out. I'll be mounting it in my 4x4. For the price a great knife.

One of the greatest
Mora companion is one of the greatest camping knives out there. The shape and feel of the handle, the shape and size of the blade, the sharpness, the scandi grind, the high quality stainless steel, and the fantastic water proofness of the whole design--knife and sheath--make this my favorite fixed blade. Sure there are a lot burlier fixed blades out there, but you will not find this kind of quality for $15 anywhere else. You'll have to pay 3-8 times that much to get a knife this good.

Sharp, cheap, and sturdy
That is my ninth Morakniv in the house. Every car glove compartment, the kitchen, the office, the backpack, the garage, the tool box, the tackle box, and I will probably buy more. I am using Mora since I was a boy and always have one of those close. They are holding their edge nicely and I opened cans with them, batoned more kindling than most people will ever see, let a carbon knife rust and revived it, I widdeled, cut Kudzu, cooked, ...

Recommended
Recommended to me by my kids’ wilderness survival program for an affordable and reliable wood carving knife. Apparently this is the only brand they use in their program. Just wanted to share that the color doesn’t match the picture, which looked closer to lime green. It really is an olive green.

Color does not match the picture
Color does not match the picture. More of a darker green. Still a great knife but could be lost much easier than the neon green colored one.

"Olive green" picture color is somewhat misleading
It's Mora Companion. It's exactly how thousands of online reviews describe it: simple, durable, practical, well-made and scarily sharp.NOTE: specifically "Olive Green" variant photos are quite different from how it looks irl. The actual color is much darker/browner, and is pretty much what you'd call "Olive" (think green olives from a can) -- and not bright lime like the pictures would possibly have you believe. And in case you just received yours and are freaking out, like I was: no, chances are you didn't receive a "wrong" color. If you take a picture of yours on a non-white background in bright daylight, it'll look "lime" too, apparently.
