These bun pins are a game changer. I don’t know who invented this, but they are a genius. I worry about putting my fake space buns in because I’ve had them fall out a couple times, these little coiled pins spin in your hair up against your scalp and attach the bun to your hair tie. There’s absolutely no way I’m losing these buns. If you’ve never tried them, you should definitely try them. I think they’d work on all types of hair and you can’t even see them in your hair. And they are so comfortable! I can’t feel them in my hair.

These spiral hair pins are fantastic, just like their pricier counterparts. My daughter loves using them to style her hair into two buns, and they keep everything securely in place all day. She’s even slept with them in a few times and woke up with her hair looking exactly like it did when she first styled it. They’re a great value, work perfectly, and you get so many in a pack that losing a few isn’t a big deal. Highly recommend! (Picture for reference to her hair.)

This is my honest opinion & assessment of this item. I bought these to style my fine, curly hair into a bun to stay cooler in the summer & for the gym. Bobby pins just don't stay in my hair very well and definitely don't hold a bun in place. Hair clips are too bulky, especially for driving. The pros: The design is great. They stay put & my hair stays put. They are easy to put in... just screw it into your hair. The balls on the ends don't snag my hair. Some complained that other brands did get snagged on their hair. You get a box of 50...5 sleeves of 10 pins in the box. That's enough to not worry about losing one here & there. They are the smaller size for my small bun & are the same length as a body pin so they're easy to bring a few in my purse. If you have a lot of thick hair they come in a larger size also. The cons: They aren't the highest quality material, however I knew I was purchasing very inexpensive ones since I just wanted to try them out and see if they work. That being said, the finish isn't 100% smooth & they may not keep their finish for long especially if they get wet. You have to practice to not get 2 butting up against each other when putting your hair in a bun. I'm wearing them very casually so I'm not worried about a messy bun. However, I've found that if I need to adjust something it's a total do over since, so far, I can't take one out without destroying the whole bun. My final assessment: Great design, inexpensive & they do what they are supposed to do. If you're looking for higher quality, look elsewhere & pay more.

These are GREAT! They hold my hair all day. They’re comfortable too, like they’re not even there. I’m very satisfied with my purchase.

My daughter has very fine but VERY long hair - and she is in the band in school, so almost every weekend we are having to put her hair up so that it fits under her hat. We were having to use a MOUNTAIN of bobby pins, but thankfully one of the moms saw and recommended these - WORTH IT!!! We went from the Everest of bobby pin usage to only needing 6 of these to completely secure her hair!

Great for up-dos, buns, chignons and also with hair scrunchies. I had a few in the past and lost all but one so headed on here for replacement. Pay attention to the size, there are varying lengths. This size is good for an adult and the price (for bulk #50) is little more than just 5 from other vendors. You will inevitably loose some so this should keep me going for the rest of my life (hopefully).

Works great buuuuutt the color comes off. I got black things on the tips of my finger, then realized it was coming off the metal. Another complaint is the ends of the pin where the bubble is supposed to protect you from getting scratched, catches hair and pulls on it when you’re taking the pin off. That hurts! Good for price, yeah. Usable, yeah, if you think the problems are minimal. Will I buy it again, no. Not worth the hassle.
