Excellent my Cat loves the taste. I would not give my cat anything else the only issue is the availability.

My hooman delivers quality and flavor but lacks _panache_
I love/hate this establishment. While they consistently deliver on flavor, the service and presentation leaves much to be desired. What keeps me coming back is FHOOD, I NEED FHOOOD. The flavor profile is excellent, with a lovely mushy consistency that my tiny kitty teeth crave. I think the level of moisture is just right, and I especially love it when they present it on a bed of dry grain-free salmon pellets. Now, onto the presentation. Would some color kill them? I mean, everything in my dish is brown brown brown. A hint of green would be so nice. The size of the portion is meant for weaker cats who don't crave as much FHOOD as I do. Double the portion sizes, please! The service is manageable. In order to be served, one must rub the humans leg as soon as they open the door to the kitchen. Rub vigorously and make sure to stay in front of their feet at all times. Make it hard for them to go anywhere, even if it means your FHOOD will take longer to prepare. You might get a shove by a naked foot, or the occasional cat toe might get stepped on, but prevail and you will be rewarded.Just the other day, my server must have though they were preparing breakfast for someone else because my plate arrived with milk poured over the Wellness Core instead of water. It was divine! But alas, the gastronomic experiment was not repeated, and none of my pleadings have been met with this addition to the menu.My evening meal gets a four star review. If the service and presentation were improved, I would say this establishment deserves a Michelin review!

After 9 years, a disappointing change.
I have a 10 year old male cat who has eaten nothing but this food his entire life. He has a delicate stomach and doesn't do well with a lot of ingredients. Usually I leave out a 5.5 oz can and he nibbles at it all day and it sustains him and pleases him. However, recently, I gave him a 3 oz can of the same food and man, it was completely different. He seems to enjoy it more and it clearly has a different color and texture. Why am I writing this review .... because something has changed in the 5.5 oz cans, the color is different, almost like it's been overcooked or something. In this last case I received, the cat has refused to eat several of the cans. They don't call them survivors for nothing, they know the difference between something that's going to keep them alive and something that's going to make them sick. And my cat has been throwing up his food more than usual.Wellness, I'm writing this review for you to know that if something has changed those of us whose pets have been eating this food for 10 years ... well, they notice.I know have to pay quadruple the price to feed my 15 lb cat on the small cans which I know he eats. Seems like it's time to start exploring alternatives. For those new to Wellness, I would recommend buying the 3 oz size of this food if that works for you. Portion control is a lot easier that way too, it does have some positives, my experience with Wellness over 10 years has been mostly positive...after all, the cat still eats it after 10 years! I just wanted to make the company aware of these changes that I've noticed in the larger cans as they are noticeable. Thanks.

Helped My Cat's Weight Loss
My cat was very overweight. A dry-food only diet wasn't cutting it no matter how much I cut down her portions. Even on the vet prescription dry food, she wasn't loosing weight. I decided to try adding wet food. I did research on feline nutrition and found that the Wellness brand in general was well regarded. Looking at a nutrition information sheet that compares various brands and varieties, Wellness Core Grain Free Indoor formula was one of the best in terms of nutritional needs.Over the span of 14 months I managed to get my cat from 17 lbs 8 oz down to 13 lbs. I gave her 1/2 can of Wellness Core Grain Free and 1/3 cup of vet prescribed diet cat food. Using a baby scale (also ordered on Amazon), I weighed her daily. I am now maintaining her weight by continuing with the 1/2 can of food but increased her dry food intake to 1/2 cup. Two months on the new amounts and her weight is holding steady.I credit the introduction of Wellness Core Grain Free Indoor wet food into her diet as the key to her weight loss. Please note, my cat turns her nose up at the Wellness Core Grain Free Indoor dry food.

My cats won't touch it
It stings to buy an entire case of this only to have my cats completely avoid it. Cats are probably like humans and prefer crap food I guess so it's back to the cheap Friskies. My last cats lived 18 years on the cheap stuff, so I don't see much point in paying this much for cat food anyway, but I did give it a try.**Update 7/27/2015 - I emailed the company on 7/15 (Ref: 413100) to request a refund with a picture of the bottom of one of the cans as requested (via a phone call with them) but never got a reply or a refund, so the food AND the company get one star.**Update 8/17/2015 - I received a check for the full amount from WellPet today, so I'm upping my rating to 3 stars. My cats still hate thefood, but at least the company came through with a refund. Now I feel somewhat guilty that my cats are too finicky I will not be buying any more cases of untested cat food. I will try some of Wellpet's other offerings though, but I'll get from a local store first.**Update 9/27/2015 - I gave the food to my brother who has four cats and three of four loved it, so with my two dissenting that's an overall 50% approval. Cat are weird.
