20g of Thermochromic Temperature Activated Pigment Powder - Heat Sensitive Color Changing Powder for Slime, Paint, Resin, Epoxy, Nail Polish, Ink, Screen Printing, Fabric Art, Casting (Red)

For my projects I tried mixing the pigment with gloss varnish and print ink extender. Both instances the pigment mixed very well with the mediums and reacted to temperature once dried. I was worried that it wouldn't react to a person's hand, but it did change color. Just be careful when working with the powder because it's very fine and easy to get everywhere if you're not careful. A little goes a long way!

I thought this was for a multi color pack due to the main photo. It is for one bag of the color you choose. It is a big bag though. We will be using it make slime this weekend. The kids are all looking forward to it!!

Used this in my 3-6 year old classroom to make color changing slime. It worked ok but really didn't change color dramatically. It would get a lighter red color but never completely white unless you put hot tap water on it. Kids loved to play with it nonetheless and really went crazy when I took a piece of it to the sink and ran hot and cold water over the slime to really show how the color change!

The red colored powder did not change. I tested it with ice and heat in the package that it came in and it did not change. It also was a MUCH smaller package than was shown in the picture (tiny little bag came /picture made it look the size of a person’s hand). I requested a refund, sent the unused powder back as directed, and received a refund. A while later, I got a notification that they never received my return and recharged me for the powder. I printed the refund slip and followed directions for returns, so I don’t know what happened. Very disappointing. I ordered the powder for a school project, it didn’t work, then I sent it back and still was charged and have NOTHING to show for it.

So much fun to work with. I made tags for cars to indicate when it's too hot to have pets and kids in a car.

Slime is in right now! What could be better than slime that changes colors

This is labelled as thermochromic but is not. It does not change color with cold or heat. What a waste of money!
