They are Ok.. but as others have said the sides are nylon and i would not say they are Luxury.. they are functional. If you want thicker padding and a more luxurious feel then go to Dunelm.

Bought this for my air bed which is 39"x75" with a top mattress depth of 10". Fits very well and I can leave it on when deflating and folding it up if required. It will fit over a two inch thick memory foam mattress on the airbed too. Very nice quality.

Purchased this to replace a standard mattress protector for my son's bed. It has a memory foam mattress which is slighter deeper than standard ones and therefore his old mattress protector constantly came off as he wriggles around in his sleep. This has solved that problem. Would recommend.

This is the second one of these excellent mattress covers I have purchased. They are a perfect fit, look very nice, and add to the comfort of the mattress. recommended.

The sides are definitely not made of cotton or similar material to the top. They are nylon looking but presumably polyester which is not what I wanted.

This is brilliant - so soft and very good quality
