Good book, but print to small

This a much easier read than the Bentham traditional translation. I never thought I'd buy 2 versions of the same book but I am very happy with this purchase.The content is very deep and I found the old English very obstructive to the heart of the message. I made it about halfway through that translation and it was a struggle for someone that lives reading.This version helps unlock that work to make it easier to contemplate and absorb. I took a picture of Bentham vs this book (larger page) for your benefit.I am using this book for Lent and it is an excellent guide to spiritual formation. It captures the essence of Christ so clearly and pulls before our eyes the conflict of His message with the focuses and values of today's world.This classic is a must read if you are a follower of Christ. You will not be disappointed with this book and translation.

Still reading it in bits. It is easier to read & understand

This book is nice and compact. The content is great very uplifting.

This is a tough but incredible read, and can really transform the outlook on life and being closer to Christ. The only thing that is distracting in this book is the constant spelling and grammar errors. I’m not sure if it’s due to translation or a publisher’s error. Overall, I would highly recommend to any Christian who wants to grow closer to God to get this book, especially for Lent.
