Excellent snooker table
Assembly was a bit of a challengeFirstly the legs. Some advice: it's entirely intentional that the initial bolts don't secure the legs rock solid (this is achieved by the leg supports in the next stage). Personally I found reaching into the tiny cavity to tighten the screws a nightmare. The supplied allen key was useless. The best tool to use is a 5mm hex screwdriver with a 10cm shaft. Start by partially screwing in the bolts before placing them into position then tighten with the hex driver when in place.2. The leg supports should go in very easily. Partially tighten until all 4 leg supports are in place then tighten all 16 bolts with your hex driver.3. The pockets are not as hard as some people say. First thread the brass through the leather. Make sure the 4 leather tabs are clear of the base. Push the wire circle into the crevice of the underside of the brass ring and secure with two tiny brass bolts. Screw the pockets onto the surface of the table. Then crawl under the table. With a yellow acrylic marker pen, dot the screw holes so you can easily see them. Align each of the eye holes of the leather tabs to the yellow holes and screw in with a long screwdriver. Finally attach the leather straps. Six iterations of these will take some time.My table was perfectly level without any alteration. Checked multiple times with a spirit level. If you have any leveling issues use beer mats to level legs bit by bit and one at a time.Balls roll smoothly and the cushions are responsive. I would love to get Riley to replace the wooden base with slate but I've got a feeling the cost would be prohibitive. The supplied cues aren't great. Given you're spending £500 on the table, spend a bit more and get some proper cues. The scoreboard is cheap and nasty and you might want to replace it with something decent.Table is sturdy but it should be treated with respect as its mainly MDF not two tonnes of solid oak!The only thing better than this table is going to be a slate bed table, and you're looking at £1000 for one of those second hand on Ebay. Bespoke slate tables, 4 times that.

HOBBY TABLE / KIDS TOY
THIS REVIEW FROM PREVIOUS BUYER HIT THE NAIL RIGHT ON THE HEAD THAY SAY EXACLY MY EXPERIANCEAND MY VIEWS OF THIS TABLE WILL NOT BE KEEPING ITNothing like a proper pool table. You can spend all day balancing the table and the ball still visually steers in certain places. If it's a gift for the kids or something for a play about at the weekend after a few beers, it's ok. But if you are wanting something decent, you might want to look elsewhere.to add to this Cushions are dead Balls come off over half the speed they went on the cloth is horrendously slow The cloth is very very unreactive so trying to get any sort of screw back side and top spin is very difficult you have to put a lot of power in the shots to get any decent sort of reaction it's basically a waste of time It's a kids hobby table

Hours of fun
I made the best choice buying this Riley pool table. It has exceeded our expectations. Looks much more expensive than it is, great value for money. The table itself is sturdy, every piece has been made to a high quality - from the balls to the pockets. I can’t fault it, very pleased with our purchase.

Difficult to level
Product is exactly as described and good quality, easy to put together although pockets are a little fiddly.I have an issue in that I can't get the table to run true. I have followed several YouTube videos and manage to get the black end perfect, middle of the table is good but the baulk end simply won't level. The end cushion leads towards the black, the two sides dip towards the middle of the table. Short of adding an intermediate support I'm at a loss. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Kids’ Toy
Interesting that the product says all over it that it is not a toy …. IT IS!The levelling system is poor. How can you turn those plastic feet when the weight of the table is on them?No amount of levelling shows the balls running true down the table. If you hit it hard they keep their line but soft shots have the balls turning in all directions. If a FLAT bed of wood cannot be manufactured then Riley should not be pretending that it can with statements about it being 12mm instead of 9mm. A snooker table of any size is absolutely useless if the bed is not flat. Very poor unresponsive cloth. Why on earth is it so thin? It might help to hide some of the anomalies of the wood underneath if it was a decent gauge. As a kids’s toy it is fine. I’m sure many would not notice the irregularities of the table but as a reasonable table to practise angles and straight shots as well a white ball control it is useless. Cues are kiddy cues. I had ordered a £250 one from Liberty Games priory to this and sent it back as it was only fit for kids. Nearly double the price and with Riley’s name (who I’m sure do quality full size tables) I thought I would have something better. I did not. Very disappointed. Please advertise it as a good kids’ toy and there would be no misinformation. I’m not convinced Ronnie O’ Sullivan got where he is today playing on this either!!!!
