Great Brackets
I was nervous ordering these based on some of the reviews, but I am incredibly happy with them. They are VERY strong, sturdy metal. There were a few chips in the paint, but at the price point, I can live with them.1st thing, people complained about the hardware. I can't say I've ever used the drywall anchors that come with anything off Amazon. Throw them in the garbage and buy new. I actually found the screws they provided to be of great quality so I used those along with new purchased size appropriate anchors. Weight wise, they'll hold up to whatever anchor you use. If I would have been able to use a stud, I probably could have hung from them, they're that strong.2nd, the screws provided are great for anchoring, but if you're putting them into a stud, you WILL need a longer wood screw. Basic math people. It's only a 2 inch screw.I would hands down buy these brackets again. For reference on my pictures, I purchased the "6 inch" bracket and put a 2" thick, 5.5" wide solid oak board on with no issues.

MISERABLE to Install
The media could not be loaded. So get yourself a 6”, 24”, and 48” level as well as a long straight edge, some screw-in drywall anchors, a self centering drill bit, some wood shims, and a LOT of patience. I knew when I saw the pictures of these that they were going to be a pain to install but I didn’t imagine it would be as bad as it ended up being. We used them for pantry shelving with one run being nearly 10’ long and the return leg being almost 3’. First, they are 1/4” thick steel plate and welded at a straight and true perfect 90 degrees from wall bracket to shelf support. This is great and a big win for the manufacturing. Problems arise if the wall you’re attaching to isn’t perfectly plumb and true, however. Thinner gauge, dare I say flimsier, shelf brackets will twist/warp and conform to less than perfect wall conditions; these will not. Additionally, the wall mounting plate will allow you to get two screws vertically aligned into a stud but it’s wide enough that the other two screw holes will be out in unstudded drywall space. And, if the two screws you can get into the stud aren’t perfectly centered and aligned vertically stacked, the whole bracket will noticeably twist out of level. Again, it’s solidly welded thick steel so the twist will not conform to shelf placement when you screw them together; either the shelf will warp and deform to meet the canted steel or screw heads will break off. Ask me how I know. Anyway, after cumulative hours trying to set, level, plumb, shim, remove, adjust, repeat 18 of these brackets for 6 shelf sections, I’m still not happy with the outcome but it looks good from far. My biggest beef now is that the wall-side brackets are 1-3/4” tall. That dimension is listed in the description and, again, I knew what I was getting into but, using 1-1/2” thick material for the shelves and being unable to consistently use black screws for the mounting holes, I now have clashing exposed fasteners that I hoped would be hiddenish and less noticeable. If I did this over again I would make folded miter plywood shelves and use truly hidden brackets. As it is, everything gets covered up by pantry stock and my OCD needs to move on to the next task…

Heavy steel brackets!
These brackets are awesome. They are heavy duty and will never bend. I would definitely want a stud to find at least one side. I’m not sure how well just in sheet rock they would last. They worked perfect for me

It is awful
I recently purchased the NEODROP 6-Pack Floating Shelves Brackets on Amazon, hoping to add some stylish storage to my home. However, my experience has been overwhelmingly disappointing, and I feel compelled to share my thoughts for potential buyers.Poor Quality Material: The brackets are made of a flimsy metal that does not inspire confidence. They bend easily under even minimal weight, making me question their ability to support the shelves as advertised.Complicated Installation: The instructions provided were vague and hard to follow, causing me to waste a lot of time during the installation process. In the end, I had to seek help from online tutorials to get the brackets installed correctly.Missing Hardware: Upon opening the package, I noticed that some essential hardware was missing. This forced me to make an additional trip to the hardware store, which was both inconvenient and frustrating.Unstable Shelves: Even after successfully installing the brackets, the shelves themselves did not sit flush against the wall. They wobbled and felt insecure, making me hesitant to place anything valuable on them.In conclusion, I cannot recommend the NEODROP 6-Pack Floating Shelves Brackets to anyone seeking a reliable and well-made storage solution. The poor quality, complicated installation, and lack of customer support make this product a regrettable purchase

Good quality for good price
Love the look of the floating shelf! Comes with screws both large and small as well as large plastic anchors to be able to hang on drywall. It even comes with a magnetic level which was very useful when installing my shelves. Definitely would recommend, just make sure to measure the shelf to know which length to get.

They are not perfectly square.
I found that out of 6 bracket only 2 were square. I had to bend the blade in a padded vice on 4 of them to ensure they were at 90 deg to the wall attachment bracket. Outside of that, they are nice heavy brackets and will support a 2x10 x 6 ft mohagony shelf and the items put on it with ease
