Glad I purchased these
Seems to have helped with my accuracy Took some time to get it tuned. It's held up great so far not much wear on the plunger.

Plunger
It’s a basic plunger. Did help with left and right flight adjustments. Took off a star because being a fairly new archer, there needs to be a small instruction manual to explain how to make adjustments to fine tune your arrow flight. Having to fumble through it.

New to recurve archery but nice tool
I'm new to recurve archery so the setup is probably not 100% correct. I am also getting a new rest because the cheap one I had was defective on the foam stick on pad so I had to use a thinner command strip adhesive foam strip to stick it on.That said, the plunger itself seems to be functioning very well. I was able to adjust the resistance of the spring by screwing the yellow cap out then locking it in place with the red ring. I was able to use the blue ring to adjust how far the plunger screwed into the mounting hole on the bow and then the gray ring to lock it in place. It comes with a spare spring and two rods to use to tighten down the locking rings. No instructions however.I was having some issues with arrows grouping but that is probably my lack of familiarity with this bow. The plunger did work well as I made adjustments to change the right and left placement of the arrows.Over all a solid product and simple enough for a new archer to figure out.

Great design with an unusual feature
Samik makes good products and this is now exception. Plunger operates smoothly as expected.Would have been five star except it uses an unusual locking mechanism that took me a while to figure out as there were no accompanying instructions. Also, they should have supplied a spare Teflon tip. Cost of adding this is miniscule.

does what it does, well made, also my first adjustable mechanical plunger
As far as I can tell, it’s great and does what it should. But to be fair, this is the first mechanical plunger I’ve used. I’ve shot archery off and on for nearly forty years, but it was always very traditional so no sights, no metal adjustable rests yadda yadda. I have used plastic pads and leather and all manner of other things to perform the job similar to a plunger, but not as adjustable etc. So this being the first time I’ve used a mechanical adjustable plunger I guess take it with a grain of salt.I had no issues with threads or adjustment capabilities. It looks and feels quite well made etc. So far I have zero complaints. I just need some more time to get it dialed in properly.

Good for beginners, did not have instructions
Reviewing SAMICK SPORTS Cushion Plunger for recurve Bow, Aluminum Alloy Screw in Shock Absorption preasure BottonGood plunger for beginner recreational recurve archers shooting aluminum arrows.Samick is a well-known and dependable brand for entry level recreational archery.Simple installation with the included tools, if you are familiar with the installation of plungers, as this item did not come with instructions. While one could find an installation and use video online, any tool like this should come with a parts list, description, and at least basic instructions for installation. Including an extra spring is a good idea, as these can break or get lost easily, although, not sure if the tensions on the springs are different, because no information on them was included in the package. Can be used with stick on and wrap around rests.Drawbacks - 1. must use included tools for installation and adjustment, 2. no set screws for adjustment, 3. no gauge or markings for setting and holding tension or for removing and installation, 4. should not use with carbon arrows (nylon/teflon tip will wear quickly)I would recommend only for those beginners considering moving to a plunger, but not wanting to invest a lot of money at first. I am enjoying some success with this plunger and am now shopping for a higher quality, more precise equipment. I do not regret this purchase at all, and will likely pass it on to my daughter when she's ready to try a plunger.

Good Plunger, Affordable
It was easy to adjust the center shot. The build quality seems good.I'm not very experienced as far as plungers are concerned, so I cannot say if it's really helped my grouping at all, but it could be a matter of tuning. I'm basing my rating on the fact that this seems like a well machined product, that it fit perfectly on my Samick bow, and it's reasonable pricing ($19).Tip: I did find Jake Kaminski's youtube video on how to setup and tune a recurve plunger very informative and helpful, especially since it didn't come with any instructions.

It works!
I'm primarily a compound shooter, but I do dabble in recurve. This plunger does exactly what it's supposed to do. It gives your arrow a cushioned resistance so that the arrow stay straight over the neck of the bow. The spring loading lets the arrow push slightly, but keeps it in place. This plunger works well, and I would recommend it.
