This was a good idea
For the money this is a great diy project looks great when finished, took about 2&1/2 hours to complete by myself,I just used 2 coats of clear polyurethane and some left over pulles I had from a previous project it really makes it look high quality,I think it turned out really well, fyi don’t throw the drawer slides in a pile and mix them together like I did some of the drawers don’t slide correctly my mistake,I’m using this for my tv stand so there’s a lot of wires behind it,the only problem I have is the back part along the bottom doesn’t have a cutout or a hole to put a extension cord through but easily enough to fix over all this was easy to put together instructions was well done everything was labeled well,,drawers are deep and holdes a lot of clothes, this was a good purchase

Solid and easy construction
The most difficult part of building this was figuring out how to properly place and install the drawer gliders. The gliders have multiple holes to be spaced out for different types of furniture, not specifically this set. Once I figured that out everything else was very simple if you have ever assembled box furniture. Took about 2 hours, lots of screws, but thats a good thing. These are solid pieces, still a little wobbly if you hand screw everything. Use a power tool and wood glue to get rid of any loose joints. One of these fits alot. I was using a 8 cubby storage case as a dresser, and all my cloths fit in the 3 drawers.

Affordable wooden dresser that's great for an art project!
I wanted to replace an old, hand-me-down, engineered wood dresser for my girlfriend's birthday. It had been falling apart for years and I wanted a real wooden dresser to replace it. They're all ridiculously expensive in this economy, so after the delivery service decided they didn't want to carry a cheaper model up the stairs to my condo, I took a chance on this one, in one of the few times I've ever purchased a product with zero reviews. This dresser is phenomenal! It's not perfect, it's not a luxury dresser with solid mahogany, but it is made with real wood slotted and glued together, and it doesn't cost $500+. If you have a few hours to finish it up, it's a great buy. A quick sanding, one quick layer of polyurethane semi-gloss, and the wood comes to life! I did not stain the wood, beforehand. See drawers and knobs in photos for contrast of before/after.We plan on replacing the knobs with something more unique, and are going to paint with stencils, but this is now a great little art project as we have time, or just a great dresser for those of us who can't drop big money on a dresser.Instructions were very easy to follow. I'd suggest another pair of hands to help keep your place while reaching for screws/panels, and bring a drill! We finished in about 2.5 hours, well short of the suggested 4 hour time frame. The only reason I pulled a star: the large drawers stopped short of closing by about 4 inches. After rechecking screw holes and alignment, I just applied some slow, steady force and pushed them into their channels. The drawers do take a little bit of force to close completely, but this dresser is a great value and I hope to find other VINGLI furniture bargains in the future!

Cheap Material & Tools
This drawer seemed promising at the beginning. The box came with an instruction manual and all of the tools to build. It does suggest a drill but using a screwdriver worked fine. The top of this dresser came warped and didn’t fit snugly on top. We had to reinforce it with wood glue since we are using it as a changing table. The “lock screws” that came DIDN'T WORK or secure anything the way it was supposed to. We did have to reinforce each screw with wood glue to make the dresser stable and secure for the baby. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this product at all. The material and the screws were cheap.Aesthetically, it is really pretty. We bought a bees wax from Home Depot to secure the wood and to give it a nice shined finish.

Turned out Great
I had read all the reviews prior to purchasing 2 of the tall dressers. I am a 64-year-old woman. I had no trouble putting them together. I worked on them both for 2 days and finished them at my leisure. If you follow the directions, they are not hard to assemble. I stained them a dark walnut. They turned out great. Not sure why some people had trouble assembling them. They are sturdy if you put them together correctly. They look good stained or original color. The size was fine for what I needed. Had no trouble sliding the drawers on to the tracks.

Took me 10 hours to put this dresser together!
The manufacturer claims it can be done in 4 hours. That's a stretch! There has to be at least 50 different wooden parts and 150 pieces of hardware. It takes the patience of Job to put this thing together. Add a couple of more hours if you plan to stain or paint the dresser which needs to be done prior to assembly. It also requires sanding prior to staining or painting. The top panel of the dresser was warped which necessitated the sanding of one of the support structures for the two drawers directly underneath the top panel. Problem solving this issue and the sanding ate up more time. Thank God my neighbor, who has lots of experience building furniture, came over and helped me out.I have put together a lot of Ikea furniture- fewer parts, much more straight forward. However the finished look of the Vingli dresser is more attractive than the Ikea pine furniture IMHO. The rubber wood has a very nice natural look. It is also heavier and more solid than pine .Would I purchase this product again? The answer is no. It took too much time to put together and the warped top panel caused too much aggravation. However, do I have a nice finished product? The answer is yes.PS: BTW, if you bought an Ikea product and there were defective and or missing parts, you could drive to the local Ikea store (assuming one was nearby) and get replacements from customer service. You don't have the same option with Vingli. They also do not provide a phone number for customer service in their instruction booklet. You would have to track them down via Amazon which is inconvenient.
