Light, powerful and smooth
Finesse fishing with spinning gear is my go to technique as I usually fish for river Smallmouth bass. You need something light but powerful to fight them. This reel is everything any fisherman could want-quiet, smooth, light and has a very powerful drag. I paired mine with a 7 foot 2 inch medium light Bass Pro Carbonlite spinning rod and the feel is unmatched. The other nice surprise was it was about 25 bucks cheaper on Amazon than at my local Cabelas. I highly recommend this reel for anyone who is looking for high performance and light weight. Definitely worth the price.

Super light and very smooth drag.
I just ordered another 3000 size so now I have 4 of them. I originally found one on sale awhile back for 149.99 so I decided to try it. Now I have two 3000d a 2500 and now the 3000. I have been using them weekly for over a year and they are fantastic for Trout and finesse Bass fishing. I have even caught stripped bass up to 12 lbs. Xlnt reel

Super smooth
Running the 3000 model on a 7 ft fenwick HMG mostly for pike and bass fishing. Runs 3/8 and 1/2 ounce spinning baits easily, would move up to a larger size for 3/4 ounce lures. This is by far the smoothest cranking reel I’ve put hands on. Recently picked up the new shimano Vanford and this beats it for 70 dollars less.

Excellent spinning reel
Superb performance from this 3000 size spinner. I’ve caught everything from pike to walleye to bass to panfish and it hasn’t given me any trouble. Super smooth and lightweight, nothing I can find to critique it on. Overall and excellent design and very well performing.

Liked the lack of weight, smooth drag. I am a custom rod builder and the new reel compliments my new drop shot rod , light is better....

Amazing reel
Super light reel and the drag in it is really smooth to help control strong fish, i also have a shimano stradic CI4+ and this reel is on par for quality and weight
