When I purchased this i really didn't think it would be as useful as it is, it fits rather comfy is so easy to access the paint with it on your hip. The 2 clips/clamps on it are very handy holds your brush in one and a damp cloth in the other. Very easy to clean the boys at work have gone from laughing at it to all ordering there own

Good idea -works well on ladders but awkward for ground level work bent over. Still very useful.

This this is great. It holds the pots nicely. One thing I might add...the pots they sell are identical to the one litre yoghurt pots you get free with yogurt.

This is brilliant just what I wanted it for. Brought some bags to put inside so can just throw bag away. Pic makes u think the bowl is sml but it's actually bigger than it looks which is a good thing . Top marks

This is a great idea, and I was looking for something similar (or making something out of sticky tape and yogurt pots at home). I was disappointed on receipt, though, because it's so big, wide and flat. The horizontal tray holding the pot, fine, but the vertical back wall which is supposed to fit against your torso - massive. It sticks out either side of my body, mostly because it's not very curved. It's also tall (deep?) so can't be fitted against a waist; if I wedge it just under my bust (not a great strategy) the bottom rim of the vertical piece is cutting into my tummy. I think I'm going to have to wear it slung low on my tummy, or else return it. I'm a curvy size 12 and 5'3", if that helps anyone gauge how it will be for them. It would be good if there was some flex in the plastic, and/or they came in small med large (or even, flat or curvy!). Super idea for a big flat-fronted bloke.

Well main frame seems ok , but disaster as used handle on small paint bucket and it literally just snapped spilling all the paint, bucket is basically cheap and nasty, I would use a metal one next time

Working on a ladder - painting - was not safe to hold a can of paint. This device, The Betsy Mate, provided an excellent DIY aid. Full marks to the inventor.
