I ordered small which I normally take in things and they were so tight so went next size up and there perfect and after all this time they haven't stretched so the small would of never changed. Go with the bigger size

He’s 13 and 5’ 2” and what build, don’t know which size will fit but you’ll need to find the size chart and measure around his leg 10cm above and below from the middle of his knee to find out which size will be the best.
