tech21 Evo Check for Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra - Smokey Black 16ft Drop Protecion Shockproof Shock-Resistant and Scratch-Resistant Phone Case

I've used Tech21 cases for long time because I think they offer excellent fit and protection. I ordered this case when I got a new Galaxy S23 Ultra. The item description was only partially correct - it was "like new" and in factory packaging, but when I tried to fit it to my S23 Ultra it was no go. While I can't be certain, I'd say that from the incorrect positions of the cutouts for cameras and top microphone it is for an S22 Ultra (though in an S23U box). Owing to the number of overlapping "new life" stickers on the box I'm probably not the first person to reject this particular case for this reason. Time to list it as something other than a case for S23 Ultra, because it's not!

This seems to be one of the best low profile cases for larger display Samsung phones, since it isn't prone to yellowing and has edges in the front that are raised enough to prevent damage to the screen in case of drops on flat surfaces. The only problem I've had is that they tend to "haze up" a bit over time, so the finish wears and becomes a bit frosty. This tends to happen after about a year, so I tend to replace them annually. Otherwise, a fantastic case, and I highly recommend them.

This is my third Tech21 phone cover for a good reason. They are made well and protect your phone. My last phone was a Samsung Galaxy Note 10+. I had it for almost 5 years, no telling how many drops that cover protected my phone from. When I traded it in, the phone looked like new because of the Tech21. I bought this Tech21 cover for my S23 Ultra and expect it to be just as good as my previous. I'll buy again when the time comes.

It really makes me so sad because this same case was my favorite ever on my iPhone 12 pro max, however because of the curvey screen they for some reason made it so the front side lips don't cover most of the curve (the non-displau part of the curve). This means that, with a screen protector, you'll end up with a large enough space between your screen protector and lip so everytime you use swipe gestures youll be scraping up against the protector. And can I just say that after a day of back gestures it becomes really really annoying and to be honest uncomfortable.Why didnt they just have the lip cover more of the curve like Spigen does with their cases? I have a spigen clear case and it's such a better user experience if you use swipe gestures.Edit: I just got a scratch on the bottom left on the phone (near the s-pen) because the phones leaves a good amount of it exposed. Kinda sad about it, I like having my phone near perfect 😭

Excellent phone cover/protector. Fits my Galaxy S23 Ultra very well. It's not bulky or boxy. It is light weight and flexible. I have dropped my phone numerous times without any injury to the phone due to this phone cover. Easy to put on and easy to remove. This is my 2nd phone cover from this brand and extremely happy with both and will buy this brand again.

I buy this phone case every time I get a new phone. It doesn't slip out of my hands and it's slim and not bulky, fits perfectly in my hands. I love it!

I've never actually dropped a phone in 20+ years of cell-phone usage, I buy cases because the cameras on phones stick out so far. I am OK with this case and it's been good enough for the couple years that I had this phone for. Recently, though, the sides have begun to loosen and pull away from the sides of the phone; making it difficult to press the lock button. It's also a little sharp around the charging port and makes a dent in my pinky when I use my phone for more than a few seconds. It doesn't hurt, but it's definitely uncomfortable if you support your phone the same way I do.
