I purchased them to protect my arms when I work training dogs. Their nails often scratch my forearms and hands causing them to bleed. These sleeves give me full coverage but yet the freedom and dexterity of using my fingers. The sleeves are generously long. They reach above my elbow and they fit over my hand so that there's no gap between the sleeve and my gardening glove.
