Kingfisher GHWIC Replacement Greenhouse Cover Walk In

This replacement cover is identical to the original supplied when we purchased the greenhouse 2 years ago. It is true to size and is the same quality polythene as the original. No tearing or splitting experienced - you just need to be patient and ease it into place on the frame rather than using too much force to pull into place. Good value even if it only lasts one winter compared to the cost of similar covers.

Ok so I purchased a kingfisher walk in greenhouse in March & waited until the weather was milder before building.Firstly, loads of parts were missing however the seller quickly sent what was amiss.Was quite impressed when it was all put together, even though the cover seemed to be a bit snug.First night we had some rain & a bit of wind. Got up to find that the cover roof was practically shredded with gaping holes.Bought this replacement cover, secured it again, got some seedlings etc in place & it basically lasted 4 days!Firstly the side seams along the zipper started to pull away, now left with holes on either side at this point.Secondly we had rain, once again gaping slits all down the roof & to one side of the greenhouse.These covers aren’t packaged & sent properly. They’re full of creases which weaken the plastic so as soon as there’s the slightest wind or rain the pressure pulls it apart.Unless you’re using this indoors or in an area guaranteed not to get any wind or rain then go for it but if like myself you have a garden that’s can’t avoid normal weather activity then avoid this rubbish like the plague!!!I’ve wasted money that in hindsight I should’ve put toward the cost of a proper greenhouse.Extremely disappointed & as said before a complete waste of money & time!!!!I have to give it one star for the shelves as they’re not too bad.

A bit disappointed the zip was badly sewn in and had the tie caught up in the zip stitching. It is about 5 inches too short for the frame, other than that it fits the frame well and does the job.

No issues with delivery, putting it on to the frame is a task that ideally takes two to do, although one can do it. Don't try to do it on a windy day! It appears to be made from durable (yet fairly thin) plastic sheet, I confidently expect it to see out one year and wouldn't be surprised if it lasts much longer.For the cost I would say it is a very good product.

Had a Kingfisher greenhouse for several years, it stopped closing, and the cover gradually deteriorated but got a few years use out of it. Bought this replacement cover. It was too tight ( maybe related to the frame being old and the poles not fully sinking into the corner pieces due to corrosion, though I did my best). The seams had split within a week. Gradually these tears expanded, and a winter storm shredded it 8 months later. May be ok for a new frame in a sheltered position only in summer, that you hardly ever undo. An an unlikely scenario perhaps. I am getting a new and better greenhouse with hopefully a sturdier construction.

This is a cover for my small greenhouse in my back garden. The plastic cover had ripped during a storm and the greenhouse was useless without a cover. So now I have my new cover I am good to go again.

This item was bought as a replacement greenhouse cover. I received the item in February but did not fit it until April.It was cheaply priced but on eventually fitting the cover to the existing frame I found that the dimensions advertised were incorrect and that the cover was marginally too small for the frame. On zipping up the door the zip came away from the plastic cover. By the time this happened the Amazon time for claiming a refund had expired.I am now purchasing what appears to be a more robust cover from Amazon, but will bear the quality and defective aspects of this albeit minor purchase in mind.This illustrates the old adage - You buy cheap you buy dear.Disappointing.
