I ordered the blue, yellow & green sized kids hoppers for Christmas. Each came with a pump and was in a box. These have been a big hit with the kids! We have concrete floors so I was afraid they wouldn't hold up to outdoor use but they are thick material & seem like good quality. (I wouldn't use these on a hard surface because it's easy to get off balance & fall while hopping.) So far they've held up just fine in the grass. My 2 year old is too small, even for the 15 inch ball. I expected that when ordering but wanted him to have his own for prevent screaming matches. He'll grow into it. My 7 year old uses the 22 inch & my 4 year old uses the 18 inch, although the 15 inch would be fine for him too. Good quality, fun toy that gets the kids active!

This ball is quite the bargain. Kids love it, and it does seem to be very durable. We have had this for about 1 month now. We have not used it outside on the pavement; we don't want to wear out the bouncing ball which I am sure concrete would do. On the grass, carpet, tile and laminate floors seem like an excellent surface to keep the balls condition as new. The handle is fairly stiff making it easy to hold on to. 6/24/2015 Update: Several years later from original post. we still have the ball and it is in great shape!

My 6 year old LOVES this. I used to have one as a child and enjoyed it so much that I wanted the same for my son. He mostly uses it inside our house but it can be used outside. I prefer not on the sidewalk for safety reasons but the grass in the back yard is OK. I think it works best on regular floors in our house. It is a good size for someone who wears size 6 or 7 pants; it is too tall for my 4 (now 5) year old.

I bought the balls for my grand children and they loved them, they are so excited when they come over to go outside and bounce. One of the balls did need airing up a little to often but all in all the balls were a hit. I also took them to work and the children at work loved them. As far as educational value they really helped with large motor skills.
