iRobot Roomba 695 Vacuum Cleaner, 75 W

What a great purchase! Very happy with the robot. It’s almost like having a new pet in the home. I set up its base, left it to charge for a couple of hours, then downloaded the app and connected it to wi-fi (BT Hub 5). Thankfully, I had no problems at all with this. Its cleaning schedule is set and it has also successfully performed a firmware download and is up to date on the latest release (3.2.10+32). The roomba has done three cleans now and works really well. The amount of dirt that it finds on what looks like a spotless floor is amazing. The dirt drawer truly does need emptying after every cycle. I write this on the Monday of a bank holiday long weekend. I have been watching its moves very closely, setting up little tests, putting obstacles in its way and it has passed it all with flying colours. I feel more than confident to leave it to do its job while I head out tomorrow and return to mine.

For a connected Roomba it just cannot connect to my WiFi its a joke! Will be returning it for a refund.

Cool gadget for the modern home. As long as you have clear paths, no trailing cables, and leave room doors open, this device will clean all types of flooring. Amazing how much it finds to lift from carpets. Brushes are easy to maintain and clean too, and all instructions are really clear and straightforward.

Don't waste your time and money, buy a Deebot instead

Der IRobot ist jetzt sei Weihnachten bei uns "beschäftigt" und verrichtet seine Arbeit einwandfrei. Die Handhabung und die Installation sind wirklich einfach und auch für ältere Leute problemlos. Gerät kann über WLAN oder am Gerät selber bedient werden und saugt nach dem Zufallsprinzip. Die Lautstärke nervt etwas, deswegen arbeitet das Gerät immer dann, wenn wir nicht zuhause sind bzw. saugt in einem Raum, in dem wir uns nicht aufhalten.

State alla larga. Non serve a nulla

I was apprehensive about spending 30k on this gadget. But had I known it works this well, I would have bought the 900 series. Here are some details. I am using it in a 2BHK house where the cleaning area is around 600 sq feet (I exclude the balconies and toilets). 1. It takes about 1hr to 1hr 20 mins to clean the 2 bedrooms, kitchen and hall. 2. It works better if you could arrange your furniture a little bit. Otherwise, it would keep knocking around and takes a little longer 3. Cleaning is pretty good. Earlier I used a broom or dry microfibre mop to first wipe the dust off the floor and then do a wet mop. I could still see some dirt getting dragged with the mop. It won't stick to the mop and it is annoying. But after Roomba cleans floor, when I use the wet mop, I don't see any dirt getting dragged by the mop! You cannot clean it better than this. 4. This model does not show the cleaning progress on the floor map. Better buy the higher end ones, so you know exactly when it is done. 5. One minor issue, after cleaning, it does not find the docking station easily. Even if it finds, it does not dock properly. Once one docking attempt fails, it keeps searching for the dock aimlessly! That's when you start feeling sad for the robot!! :-D

As soon as the product stops working you will run into troubles, for us it is within 18 months of purchase. Let me be clear, the product is authentic and has been registered on their app never gave any errors until the need to repair arose. Why is iRobot allowing others to sell the product if they are not going to take the responsibility of repairs. People it is much better to buy other brands at half or a third of the price which I will buy now.

after 10 days using device working good. One problem is iRobot doesn't recognize glass wall, need to stick something on it. All other completely ok. Advise from me: don't be lazy, clean your Roomba after every session.
