Time will tell
I have had 3 c-sections. For my 2nd and 3rd they made the incision where the first incision was made, so my scar has been cut open twice. I also had an issue with a dehiscence while healing from my 3rd c-section so my scar isn't the prettiest.I was looking for something that would help smooth it out, I don't necessarily need it to go away (my scar doesn't bother me, but who wouldn't want a scar to look better?) but I'd like to lighten it up as bit as well. I decided to try these silicone scar sheets.I have been using them as directed for the past month and I do notice a visible difference. My scar is a little bit smoother and it has lightened up in color. Since my scar does have a bit more scar tissue than most because of the multiple times reopened, I will imagine it will take longer than just a month of use to get the results I want (a flatter, smoother, lighter looking scar). I have to purchase another set and I will update my review as to whether or not using for an additional month has helped achieve the desired results.

Individually wrapped sheets
This scar tape arrives with each sheet individually wrapped in a very easy peel-open paper and plastic wrapper, similar to typical adhesive bandages. It adheres well to skin and can be reused a few times dependent on how much lint and such they pickup in the course of a day. I typically remove mine before I shower and place it on an oversized sheet of backing plastic reserved from when I was still adjusting for size - if it's got much color on it or a large fold/wrinkle I grab a fresh one.Color: These are a light skin color and are semi-transparent, slightly darker than my pasty white self. I am using these on a small scar on my chest and I don't go out tanning so they're a bit too dark to match me and I will stick to clear scar sheets in the future. They'd likely be a good match for areas that naturally get a summer tan like my arms. If the area is completely covered by clothing at all times it's not a big deal.Format: I am using these on a very small scar, so I am cutting them down to size. For me these sheets aren't any more convenient than a long roll. They do come exactly the same width as the roll of scar tape I previously ordered, so there's no difference there for me other than the color & shorter total length. If the length of these - just shy of 6" - is convenient for your particular scar that might be an advantage.Price: There are better options here on Amazon. The roll of scar tape I have is exactly the same width and 60" long, vs this one at a total of 23.6" (total of the 4 sheets). There's no benefit in my case of paying the same price for 60% less product, especially since the use of scar tape is a long project that will likely require more than one package of this tape.

Stick ok, but aren't actually effective.
I was initially happy with the way this adhered to my skin and covered my scars, however I've been using it for months and see no improvement in the color or thickness of my scars. I'm wondering if there is even silicone on this, or if it's just thin material with a light adhesive.

Seems to be working
I am using this on a scar from a surgery that is a few years old, so per the instructions it may take several months for it to reach full effect. After a month of use it does seem like the scar does not stick up as high as it used to so I'm pleased with that result and hope that after longer use it will continue to be less puffy. The adhesion is a nice compromise between making sure it stays on and not being as sticky as a bandaid where it hurts to remove it. So far after a month of use I have not had it fall off or move around at all. Being sheets it makes it easy to cut it to the size and shape that you need to cover the scar that you are trying to work on.

Easy to use, comfortable, but not sure about effectiveness
I recently (in the last 6 months) had some moles removed, and they left scars. I ordered these silicone scar tape to see if it would make a difference in the healing of the scar, because I tend to have dark scars for some time.I was able to cut a small piece that fit over my scar very easily, and it adhered with no issues. Even after wearing with jeans and tight pants, the tape did not move or curl. I followed the recommended amount of time to use each day for the first couple of days, and once I determined that my skin would not reject the tape or breakout, I skipped a few days and ended up wearing the tape for 24 hours consecutively for about a week. Total time used on same scar was three weeks, and while the scar has healed very smoothly, it doesn't appear to have lightened in color much, or at all. The scar on my leg is darker than usual, though, b/c it was the result of cutting an exposed blood vessel - it is possible that this one just won't lighten nor will the skin regenerate enough over the blood vessel to hide it more.I was able to wear the tape in the shower without it falling off, and I was able to remove it and wash it with soap and water when needed. Once dried, it maintained the same level of adhesion as when I first applied it. I was pretty impressed by this aspect. My skin did feel smooth after wearing it for weeks at at time, but it did not get that water-logged look that bandages give.Since my scar was very small, I have over 3.5 strips remaining to use for other scars, so all is not lost. I will keep these around to use when needed with hopes that they will speed up the healing process and lighten other scars over time.

No discernable results
I am half way through the stated directions for the scar sheets and so no results at all. If this stuff is supposed to lighten the appearance of scars you would expect some results after being half way through, even a little lightening. Not even a bit and I have definitely followed the instructions exactly.

Works very well
My daughter gets keloid like scars whenever she gets a bad scrape, and there's one on her knee that's particularly bad. Scar tape has been a game changer. These ones come in strips and I have to cut them, which is fine. The edges tend to curl after a full day but they serve their purpose.
