Good design
Great for stopping bits of bird food from dropping to floor. We had a rat in the garden, so hopefully this will stop it scrounging for bits of bird food falling from the feeders.

Useful bit of kit
Decent quality and easy to attach to bird feeder. It works for us as it reduces the amount of seed that gets on the ground so grass under the feeder is starting to recover from the pigeons. The pigeons use the tray as a table and bigger birds have learned to use it to swing the feeder and tip more seed out !

problem solved
my dog was very partial to grabbing abit of fallen fatball , which i didn't think was a good idea, this tray catches the bits nicely and the small birds sit on the tray and clear up. thankyou.

Need something to hook into
The media could not be loaded. This clips on easily to a bird feeder as long as it has something to hook into. It really works and I find when birds do drop seed onto the tray they then sit in the tray and pick the seeds up from there

Ok but Expensive
Looks ok, but was expensive for what it is. The bowl is plastic, cheaper to buy a plant pot saucer from a garden centre!

Well made and good value for money
Ideal for saving fat ball droppings from going on the ground (and tempting any rats) - good value for money

Good
It performs its intended function, but the metal hanging part has become rusty. The birds are not scared of it.
