This game is a huge improvement over the first Neptunia game which was very mediocre and frustrating. In my opinion it put the series on the right track and helped them make the most of the franchise and its story premise (console wars). The battle system is very close to the most recent Neptunia games in the vita and steam remakes where characters can move during battles and they have certain ranges for their movement and weapon attacks. The story and character dialogue can be silly oftentimes with tons of humour here and there.

Great character design ! Artwork is amazing and the tunes are catchy, great game for anyone who has played the first one or read the manga, just wish I had more time to play it as the Mrs goes off her rocker, not easy for a anime fan to enjoy his hobby 😭 the story is a bit slow the talking scenes take too long to go through other than that you can play till your hearts content unless you have a ball and chain as nagging as mine!

Hyperdimension Neptunia MK 2 is a third person J-RPG with lost of classic RPG themes. It reminded alot of the old NES and SNES RPGs of yonder years.Hyperdimension Neptunia MK 2 is full of Japanese anime themes. This will either put you off buying the game or make you want it even more.The fighting mechanics are similar to those found in old school J-RPGs. And if you like these sorts of games then you are sure to love this.The graphics in the game are pretty good. They switch from classic 8/16 bit genre to modern beautiful scenes.The game features a lot of fanservice shots, which is why it's rated 16, so be aware.Overall If you like classic J-RPGs then this is the game for you.

The music and gameplay here are leagues above the original, although I think you would need to play the original to understand some of the story.Plenty of comedy, plenty of cute and great voice acting compared to the leaden stuff you find in most games.Also the combat is much, much better than the original. It's been simplified so instead of altering every single combination of button presses you now have a choice of three: rush attack, power attack amd guard breaking attacks-- and a combination of those can pop out supermoves as long as you have action points.That said, it's a great game. If you like JRPGs you could certainly do worse.

This is a brief review.The characters are really likable and fun and the dialogue is cool. The combat is fair to middling, there is some depth to it and its turnbased. The story is very weird to the point where it might put you off. The environments are very very basic and rather small.

So I got this game day one and I gotta say it is a massive improvement over the first one. Characters are great, story is just as good and their is always stuff to do in it. Highly recommended game.DLC on the store adds alot to the game too with more missions and coliseum fights with more outfits, weapons and items.

This game is just like the the first version but well improved although it is somewhat shorter with lots of characters being DLC (down loadable content) which is a load of BS but other than the above perfect gave.
