It's a good kit if you know what you are doing.
I bought the kit for Pixel 5 and successfully replaced the battery. Most steps are easy to follow except how to apply the adhesive to reinstall the display, which is entirely missing! The black adhesive is sandwiched between white paper and blue plastic film, which is ALMOST the size of the phone. This means you only use the FRINGE of it and discard the rest. I said ALMOST because if you place it in the middle of your phone, it will NOT reach either edge of your device! So I ended up cutting it, lengthwise, into 2 halves so that the right & left halves can cover the right & left edges of the phone respectively! I wish the instruction were better. It took me a while to figure out the adhesive was hidden between 2 sheets of materials and then much longer how to apply it. Other than the bad instruction, the kit comes with everything you need for the job. Since I only installed it yesterday, I can't vouch for the longevity of the battery. So far I'm happy. My Pixel 5 is only 2 years old. To have a bulging battery, I'm very disappointed in Google. This is why I didn't buy an OEM Google battery, which cost 2x more. Now, I have the old battery in my hand, I see it is made by the same company, Sunwoda, assuming the replacement is not lying! If this replacement can last 2 years, it's a good investment. The phone would be 4 years old by then, and time for a new one. Through this exercise, I also realize Google lies about Pixel 5's capacity. The OEM battery reads, "Typical Capacity: 4080mAh/ 15.78Wh" and "Rated Capacity: 4000mAh/ 15.48Wh". So when Google advertises the former, it is expecting this battery to operate OUTSIDE of the TESTED parameters! No wonder it bulged after only 2 years!

Perfect fit and great instructions
I was having issues with my Pixel 5. I really like my phone but my battery was dying after 2 to 3 hours without even being touched and the original battery decided to swell, pushing my screen off. As the last ditch effort I decided I'm going to try this battery and it completely brought my phone back to new working condition if not better. Even if I'm playing with my phone, watching videos, playing games or whatever else I want to do it seems to last almost all day. The kit comes with great instructions and everything that you're going to need to do the job and be happy with the results. I have never replaced a battery in a phone that was sealed, with these instructions I was able to take it apart replace the battery and get it back together within a half an hour. If you need a battery I highly recommend this one. This is an all-inclusive kit, it includes the battery, tools, new seals and great instructions. I highly recommend

Worked well and was easy to do
Bought it to replace a dying battery and everything went well other than the adhesive sheet had some troubles being applied but it did work in the end.

Good product but I still bricked my device.
everything in the kit was great. The screw driver that came with this was really nice and magnetic; good quality. I replace screens and batteries often so I know what I'm doing but ... I managed to kill my phone. These phones are very very delicate and you can be as gently as possible and still mess it up. Connector tolerances are extremely tight and with out a microscope you can tell if a in needs tightening or if a pad de-laminated. Just don't get mad if you break it; it happens.

Includes everything needed to replace on the road!
My phone screen started popping off midway through a road trip due to a failing/expanding battery. This kit for my Pixel 5 had everything included to replace it on the road - even a paper instruction sheet, which I really appreciate. So far (2 weeks in) battery performance seems as good as new. The only thing I would note is that, for my phone model (Google Pixel 5), there is a small clip between the midframe and top of the case that became dislodged and I had to search online to discover where it went - a not about that in the instructions would be the icing on the cake.

Post Install Bliss
When I got a new Pixel 9, I gave my 12 year old son my Pixel 5. But within a few months it had split open with a really puffy battery. The Viimon Battery Replacement Kit for Pixel 5 was only $21.98, so I figured I had nothing to lose. In my case, the puffy battery had already broken the seal on one whole half of the phone. That made it very easy to remove the screen, which I understand can be one of the hardest parts of working on one of these sealed phones. So I can't comment on that, because in a sense I was lucky. The kit comes with instructions (including photos), and every possible tool you would need: mini screwdriver, tweezers, plastic pry, etc. as well as parts like a new edge seal. You have to remove some tape, disconnect a few things, remove about ten tiny screws, and then pry the old battery away from its adhesive. The whole process took maybe 15 minutes. The only part that was even a little challenging was reapplying a new sheet of edge adhesive, which is really narrow, and with the small area and stickiness, is like a Lego sticker set from hell. But again, no big deal. The result was a phone that was nice and flat. I put it back on the charger, and within minutes was able to boot it back up, no problem, no issues, just like nothing had happened. Compared to spending hundreds on a new phone, it seems like an extremely good value. The only real question is how long the battery will last. We will follow instructions and do a full charge/discharge/recharge cycle 3-5 times and see how it does. My hope is that it at least lasts half as long as the original, which survived for 4.5 years before failing. If you have any technical skills, and have enough manual dexterity to handle tiny screws, you should be able to do this. I wore two sets of reading glasses so I could see what I was doing. My son held a flashlight at times. I will provide an update later if anything changes, but right now I can say that I would definitely buy this kit again.
