Doesn't work
Added 4 pipettes to my 1 gallon herbicide and that did not turn the areas sprayed blue. (Now the directions call for 3 pipettes per 1 gallon.) There was no way to tell where you sprayed after it dried. Had to go back to walking a grid so I would not go over the same area twice. Should have taken the 1 star reviews seriously. Sad that an American made product is this terrible. Buy something else.

Strength?
I intended to use this dye to mark which red fire ant mounds I had treated, but the dye failed to be visible on the red clay of the fire ant mounts. The instructions states that you can use UP TO 10ml/gallon of water. I mixed at twice that rate and the spots that I sprayed weren't detectable.I'll try at a higher dosage rate, and that MAY work, but know that it isn't as concentrated as you may think.

Water Soluble
I've been using Lazer dye for years and it's been great. I bought this product this time around. I use Ortho Concentrate, which is added to water. This product is water soluble also, but it breaks down and leaves no trace in the ground when I spray it. That totally defeats the purpose. I won't buy it again.

Cool thing
Any one who has sprayed their lawn with weed killer knows the feeling (as you are wandering back and forth trying to find the buggers) of trying to figure out whether you sprayed THAT weed. This stuff solves that problem.Put a bit of this blue dye in the weed killer sprayer along with the chemicals you are using. Your spray will now dye whatever you spray blue and you can see where you have treated and where you haven't.It's winter here and there are no weeds to spray so I cannot tell you how long the color lasts but truthfully, as long as it lasts long enough for me to finish spraying, I will know what's left to be done.Nice product.

Too light
Used as directed, this product is not visible. I had to use 4 times the directed amount to see where I sprayed.

Product does not work
I used this tracer dye with one gallon of water at the recommended dilution rate.. Applied with a pump sprayer. I did not see any dye traces where I had sprayed. Tested it on bare concrete. Did not leave any visible tracer stain. Increasing the dilution rate will dive up the costs, and in effect make it cost prohibitive. And,not a big deal, but there was no Pipette included in the package.

Blue Dye
It did not work at all. I added the recommended amount and couldn't tell where I had already sprayed my weed killer. I dumped a whole bunch in and I couldn't see it. It did nothing.

Made in the USA. Saves Chemicals
I use a marking dye every time I spray the property. I use a dye to spot spray or cover the whole 1/2 acre. It keeps me from wasting chemicals and my time by overapplying. It also keeps me from missing areas too. I usually put down pre-emergent and herbicide at the end of February. I will be using this product at that time. This is advertised to be ultra-concentrated, and 8oz will make 23 gallons of solution for $10.99. The dye I've been using for the last six years, 8oz will make 80 gallons for $6.25. It comes in a 32oz bottle for $24.99 and is made in the USA, Florida. I usually double the amount, but it still costs significantly less. I said all of that to make this point. This product is overpriced. Yes, you get the pipette, but the pipette is worth pennies. Keep in mind the date of this review because prices may change too.In conclusion, I'll use this in about one month, and if there is something to update, I will post it. Right now, I rate this at four stars. Knocking a star off because I think it is overpriced. Hopefully, any update that I make will be a positive update.
