DK Cars, trains, ships and planes (hardcover) As usual from "Our world in pictures" series, this book offers lovely illustrations and hundreds of interesting facts (256 pages). I bought it mainly for my 5 year old son who is absolutely into all sorts of vehicles, beginning from bikes, usual cars, supercars, lorries, trains, tall ships, modern ships, planes, jet fighters and space vehicles. This book is all about it. It does not go into depths in regards to all above, but has hundreds of pictures and as we all know, the pictures are the things which will easier catch kids attention rather than dozens of text lines. It's a perfect book for a young child or rather young child and a parent. In my opinion teenagers and adults will definitely have a look at it and enjoy it too, no doubt, but will not find it so engaging in the longer run. Please have a look at the real photos attached. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone interested in vehicles, regardless of age, although especially children will be enjoying it the most and for the longest time.

lovely book full of lovely pictures

This was bought as a surprise and when it was received they were over the moon. The illustrations are colourful and pages thick and informative and kids enjoy it. Its great for bookcases and last a while for educational needs. Its hardback and wipable so easy to keep clean. Would be a great gift even after it has outgrown its purpose the 1st time. Great for any kid.

The content of this book is amazing! What a wonderful collection of cars & trains & plains & many more. Truly, it is a favourite of my two little ones and we go through this book daily.

This is a lovely book that I bought for my young nephew who is a very keen learner and is crazy about anything transport related. When it arrived I found myself spending too much time browsing myself before giving it to him, so a great book for both adults and kids! Great images and very easy to understand explanations annotating the images. Very happy :)

This is a good visual book for kids interested in planes, trains and things. There isn't much explanation but lots of pictures, which you can talk about. I found my 4 year old boy, who doesn't like reading practice much, showed interest in reading the words as he wanted to know what each plane or car was etc.

Bought for my 7 year old son's birthday & worth every penny. He has it in bed with him & keeps reading it months later. Loads of photos.
