Bourne Again Genre!
After the first two stunning Bourne installments everyone wanted to know if the conclusion would be just as good. Well it has surpassed my expectations and once again pushed the bar much higher in this genre. Right from the start the pace is fast, as though you are carrying on watching the second film. The one criticism I have of the early part is the meeting at Langley between Pamela Landy and CIA Director Ezra Kramer discussing Jason Bourne. Considering what happens later on in this film I felt that this should have been much more edgier. I would have expected Kramer to put Landy on the back foot over Bourne and making it clear that she hadn't covered herself with glory over the affair. That would have made Landy later in the film being shipped off to CIA Deputy Director Noah Vosen's shady operations much more understandable. Similarly the DVD deleted scenes includes one where Kramer appears before a Senate Select Committee and this really should have been in the film to set out Kramer's character more fully. The confrontations Jason Bourne becomes involved with in this film are powerful though. You get to understand just how good he is and why the CIA absolutely fear this man. The Treadstone operation put every effort into the development of this asset and their constant nightmare was Bourne on the loose. Men and women in the CIA who would normally take the tightest situations in their stride suffer uncharacteristic failures when Bourne's rampaging around the world. My favourite parts of this movie are the fight between Jason Bourne and Desh Bouksani, abosolutely stunning. The speed of these two is breathtaking and by the end you too will be breathless. Also Jason Bournes distraction machinations against Vosen in New York is wonderful and inspired. I know some feel that Paul Greengrass' in your face action scenes are overdone, but you really do feel that you're right there in the middle of the action and he has perfected this feeling for the viewer in Ultimatum. Whereas the car chase in Moscow during Supremacy was too long and overdone, things are kept shorter and much better in Ultimatum. Is there room for more Bourne? Absolutely! Don't take any notice of those who say that this ties things up nicely and the franchise should be left alone. Bourne is hot property and he will be back. The situation surrounding Nicky Parsons is still very much unresolved. What is it that Jason Bourne doesn't remember? Has everything rotten in the CIA been resolved now? I very much doubt that. I feel that the whole Treadstone/Blackbriar programme runs even deeper and the conspiracy could go much higher. Has Pamela Landy now crossed those in very high places? Will there be repercussions for all concerned? We shall see...I am really pleased with the DVD. For once most of the deleted scenes, many of which seem to very out of place to the actual cut, don't leave you feeling that they should have been included. There's a whole long list of features and if you are getting this for the holiday then you will be able to sit back and allow yourself to become completely immersed in the bonus features.Overall The Bourne Ultimatum is an outstanding film and this is a very pleasing DVD. Following the release of The Bourne Supremacy other film makers in the action genre realised that they had to raise their game in the post Bourne movie world. Now with the release of The Bourne Ultimatum those same movie makers must be scratching their heads and wondering if they can really compete in this Bourne again genre!

Great film
This dvd replaced one which had worn out! Can’t go wrong with this franchise. I know I’ll watch this one, and the others in the series, over and over again … This dvd was a fantastic price, too. Would definitely recommend.

Breathtaking and awesome
Unbelivably good action packed and exicting. Without spoiling the film for anyone the plot is strengthened and the backstory of Jason Bourne's entry into the CIA. With an added political criticism of the current incumbents of the White House's attacks on civil liberites and the rule of law.The fight scenes are unbelivably breathtaking some of the best seen in any action movie this year. So much happens in the movie due to its fast ace its hard to take in one showing I had to see it twice. There are some unbelivalbe moments in the movie that dont make sense in real life - surviving a bomb explosion without a scratch and chasing a CIA hitman through the streets of Tangiers Morroco!!!Defintely the best action movie of the year. Due to the Bourne films Bond has improved and action movies are having to raise the stakes due to the high intensity action and story in the Bourne movies. It's helpful if you have seen the previous two films and familar with the main characters and basic outline of why Bourne is on the run.Personally I can't wait for it to come out on DVD for Xmas. Enjoy and hopefully there will be a fourth film.

Think Jason Bourne as James Bond on steroids minus the slow parts
Think Jason Bourne as James Bond on steroids minus the slow parts, the middle age sex and Q. The Bourne Ultimatum is third in the trilogy featuring the renegade killer agent Matt Damon as Jason Bourne who is both running towards and from the CIA agency that trained him and is trying to kill him. If you are unfamiliar with the two earlier films in the trilogy featuring Jason Bourne, you might want to see them first. Otherwise you are in for a very fast, technically superior cinematic roller coaster. Take nothing for granted and have plenty of coffee on hand to keep up with the frenetic pace. Matt Damon is made for the lead role and there is convincing acting support and cutting edge direction across the board. Repeat viewing also helps to follow the full nuances of the plot, action and frequent switches of world locations and is well worth the effort. The Bourne Ultimatum is an exhilarating exiting movie that leaves you wanting more. 5 stars.

A superb finale to a great trilogy
I have to say that I expected this film to be good. I was not let down. As ever, the action is intense and the film very well paced. As always Jason Bourne continues his hunt for the people that made him and this provides an opportunity for the bad guys (the CIA) to finish him off once and for good. Its stylish to say the very least but I have to admit Matt Damon's suddenly deep voice was a slight concern for all of two minutes. He actually says very little anyway! I can find little to fault the final part of the Bourne saga. Its just great. Matt Damon is the star of the show yet again. His constant high quality performances in almost every film he is in are usually ignored. But you can't deny the value he represents. If you haven't seen either of the first two films I advise watching them first. It will make this film make far more sense! I have to say that I'd like to see another Bourne film. How, what, where and when are questions I don't have the answers to but this film is solid as a rock and great fun to watch. A must.

Awesome movie
I love all the films in this trilogy and this one is just as great as the others, if not better. The DVD arrived in good time and was well packaged - so there was no exterior damage to the DVD.I haven't watched it yet so can't comment on the quality of the disc but overall, I'm very happy with the price and delivery service.

This movie in DVD form from Amazon was unsatisfactory and worthless.
See the above headline: UNsatisfactory product!! My computer informed me that it could not read the text on the DVD. Before this purchase, I did not understand that an American movie on a commercial DVD, offered by Amazon, might be unable to be played on an American (HP) computer with Windows operating system. YUCK! I have the movie, The Bourne Supremacy, on DVD, and I can watch it whenever I want. I had hoped to watch The Bourne Ultimatum in similar circumstances.
