Q: will this work to cut carpet?

Hi This cutter makes it easy to cut carpet, cardboard boxes, paper and vinyl as long as the material is under 1/4 inch thick.

Q: Will it cut cardboard box? I want a faster and easier way to break down Amazon Prime cardboard boxes

This was the reason I bought it, and yes it will cut up all your Prime cardboard boxes faster. The best part is there are far less shreds of cardboard falling all over the place, or the chance of cutting, stabbing yourself like with a box cutter or utility knife. But as with all cutting electric hand tools you do have to press the safety lock before operating the trigger, which may be a problem for some people with weak right hands.
