Makes the perfect curl. Burned outer thumb and in between index finger but nothing like feeling the actual wand in your hand to get the job done. Even with multiple practice tries still get burned every once and a while. Doesn’t quite hold the curl as long though through no fault of the wand, mostly likely attributed to humidity of where I live and just how long my hair is. Still looks nice with a relaxed curl look. Hoping I get more use out of this wand, so far, works as expected.

I’m so happy with this curling iron! I’ve always been a big fan of keeping my hair healthy by doing my hair w/ heat once a week or every other week, sometimes once a month & I’ve used every kind of tool possible but curling wasn’t something I did as often. I never liked the clamps on curlers, I have really long hair & I had a hard time with other sizes but THIS, this is perfect! My hair length is down to my butt and I wanted beachy curls — that’s exactly what I got! I left the ends out to achieve more of that look. I found this extremely easy to use once I got the hang of it, I’ve found it’s important and even says in manual it’s best to point the tip down & wrap the hair around. The size is perfect for my hair length! Another thing I love about this brand is it’s PINK! I want to get all of their pink tools now, not only is it cute & aesthetically pleasing, it works great too! I think durability wise this will last a long time, it heats up fast so you don’t have to wait long. You can’t control the temp, there’s only a power button so know once you have it plugged in and on, it’s probably already at max temp. It goes without saying, be very careful with your extremities to keep all skin away from the skin as you’ll really get a burn if this even taps you. I just made sure to close all open sources of water around me just in case & I laid my iron down on a silicone mat made for hot hair tools to protect surfaces since while there’s a stand, it doesn’t tend to keep the weight of the wand balanced on it. if I could buy this product twice I would. Best purchase I’ve made in a long time, it made doing my hair effortless! I think it took me about an hour to do my whole head but I was also sectioning off & doing smaller strands at a time. I’m sure it can be done quicker & will still give you the same beachy waves, just looser. Hope this helps someone make the decision to buy it, I’m glad I finally did & ditching all the wands that rip my hair or just don’t do the job! I sprayed protector on my hair prior & my hair didn’t stick to the iron either (which can sometimes be an issue w/ cheaper ones) but it seems the wand is made with good material where that doesn’t happen. While I’m using heat, I feel like out of all the tools I use this is probably the healthiest way to style my hair & it should last a few days too!

Love this curling iron!! It is super easy to use and gets hot in seconds! Perfect for those loose curls everyone desires for their hair. It does not stand well tho with the little plastic piece

FOR THE LIFE OF ME, I cannot understand why they did not put some sort of plastic cap on the top of the barrel of this curling iron. I have burned my left thumb knuckle more times than I can count and burned my forehead so badly it had people asking “who hurt you??” for weeks. Don’t get me wrong- it is a beautiful curling iron. I understand why they didn’t want to create a seam on the barrel, but they did it at the expense of their customers skin. I can count on one hand how many times I’ve burned myself with my previous curling irons in two decades of hair curling, and I’ve somehow doubled that number in two months of using this one. It’s beautiful, doesn’t work any better than any other curler I’ve owned, and it will get you, even if you’re careful. Would not recommend. PS. I don’t have another one to compare it to, but I really like this curling wand! It heats up really quickly. It’s only got one button which keeps it simple. It comes with a glove - I wish it was the opposite hand but I’ve made it work. I wish it came with a silicon mat to lay it on. Otherwise it’s great!

i honestly love this so much! i’ve had the same curling wand for 6 years, went to europe and the battery broke😭 took me a yr and a half to replace but so happy i waited until i found this.

This wand completely dried out my hair and it was extremely uncomfortable using it. The "heat glove" is essentially a regular glove with no heat protection my hand was still burnt. The stand barely holds the hot part of the wand off the counter and caused my countertop to fade in color where it sat ON the stand even if the hot iron wasnt touching the counter and just hovering over it. I have placed my hot hair iron on top of my hear protector case on this same counter top for prolonged periods of time and have never had this issue before. The swivel for the electric cable is so stiff. Due to the one heat setting being stuck at 410 you need not only a heat glove for the hand wrapping your hair but a heat sleeve for the arm holding the wand itself since there's no protective tip.
