Vigil......what a man. Heart on his sleeve, dirty talker and hot as hell! Sign me up, where can I find one of him. He will stop at nothing to protect his own. Mila and Devon became his regardless of her protests. Mila was running from her last and cursing the biker turned protector. But eventually the fire will consume you or you'll burn up from the heat. Vigil, damn.....want one of him. Holy hell!

So, the author is a good writer. I just struggled with the story. I liked Viper, and even though I hadn’t read all of the books I felt like a had a good idea of who he was. The h is missing back story. So, she got pregnant with a one night stand at a bar. Proceeds to get involved with a biker in a nasty 1 % club for 10 years. Somehow hooks up with the Feds and becomes an informant?Then the witness protection places her right next to biker in a 1% club that is her ex’s rivals. I don’t think so. And he and his club are going to trust her after being a fed witness? Again, I don’t think so. I needed backstory to understand the bad decisions she made. Their story just didn’t make sense and so I struggled with this book.

The Beast is unleashed! The usually cold, stoic President of the Vipers shows a softer side when a sexy single mom and her teen son move into his neighborhood. Vigil is full on in lust with the quiet woman but soon learns there's more to her than meets the eye. Her son, Devon, has all the new-kid-in-town issues and Vigil takes a shine to the kid. They become fast friends and that relationship is just about the best part of the story. I loved the way Vigil took Devon under his wing and helped the young man in so many ways. Devon thinks Vigil is just the man for his mom and he might not be wrong. Mila's always had a thing for ginger-haired hunks with light eyes and Vigil is all that and more with his banging body and alpha attitude. But she's been burned in the past and doesn't want anything to do with the MC lifestyle. When danger comes calling she turns to Vigil and his brothers for help. She doesn't even have to ask. Vigil puts the club in motion and does what it takes to keep Mila and Devon safe. She find out that he is a beast in and out of bed with his dirty sexiness and his brutal vengeance. This is a good addition to this MC series with a sexy insta love/lust romance and a bit of danger with all the brothers helping their Prez as he claims his woman and her son. There's some heartache as Vigil's blood brother and club VP hits rock bottom and disappears. Looks like a good future story. Not a dark, gritty MC story but more on the lighter side with a terrific MC brotherhood, a sizzling romance and a sweet bromance between Vigil and Dill. Lots of hot brothers for future stories. Can't wait! I voluntarily reviewed an ARC.

This was and enjoyable read and we loved Virgil,Mila and Devon and their story.I always pick a favorite character that stands out and my favorite this time around was Virgil because he always seemed almost unapproachable most of the time but, when it came to spending time with both Mila and Devon he was anything but.We loved Devon and Virgil's interactions and so forth whether Virgil realized it or not he was taking on the role of a parent while also extending friendship to a boy who seemed to be a little bit lost.We loved the chemistry between Mila and Virgil because if you just entered a room you could feel it between them but, Mila is constantly Waring with both her heart and mind but, with very good reasons to be that way after the situation she has found herself in but, one thing is for sure is Virgil has met his match in Mila and he is addicted to her sassiness.I really loved Mila and Virgil together they were super sweet together and even when she was trying to avoid him she was constantly drawn to the cocky alpha biker so much so her attempts made us smile.Overall we felt it was a heart felt story and the characters we easy to love and as always we love all the teasing and so forth among the clubs members added with a bit of suspense and bitter betrayal and unanswered questions about Virgil's brother created a bit of a mystery so much so we want answers too it was the perfect read to pass the time.

Vigil was the Prez of the Vicious Vipers MC had enough on his plate dealing with his alcoholic, VP brother, Ricky. He had to give Ricky the ultimatum either get sober or turn in his colors. Ricky turned in his colors before Vigil knew of his decision and left his brother wondering if he would ever see him again.A beautiful woman moved in next door which caught Vigil’s attention until he seen she had a teenage son. He didn’t need any baggage in his life because club bunnies did what he needed and after Ricky breaking his heart he wasn’t ready for more. Mila was on the run with her son hiding from her abusive ex-husband biker by being put in the witness protection program. Devon has a love for bikes and Vigil sure got his attention riding past. At first Devon was hired by Vigil to mow his lawn for him and that was the beginning of a bond that gave me all the “feels” I wanted from those two. Now Vigil was working his way into Mila’s life and with the chemistry between them and the respect that Vigil showed Mila her walls were breaking down. But for how long would Mila stay safe before her ex found her and just who was behind the betrayal?This was an intense MC book that highlighted on the love a biker can have for those who have touched him and the lengths he would go to in order to protect them. As for Mila I loved the way she loved her son and Devon for the way he loved his mom. This is another great addition to the Vicious Vipers MC series and I can’t wait for the next book!!

5 stars all the way!! Vigil . . . Man ooh man, loved this guy! Loved his respect for Mila. He wasn't a alpha ass h***. Don't get me wrong , he is definitely all alpha & I wud love to have him in my life. Haven't read the series but I definitely will.
