Works as advertised for Dewalt.

There is nothing to dislike about the product, works great for what I need it for.

Both switches were fried within 10 mins of being hooked up. Didn’t even blow the fuse, just completely melted the contacts inside. Complete garbage.

So friggen useful if you have dewalt tools or more importantly dewalt batteries. Can be used for so many things I have used to power a bunch of stuff including 12v lights and a bunch of different DC things but really works great if you have a dirt bike or other vehicle without headlights and you wanna ride at night. Only thing you gotta watch out for is they can ruin you batteries if you use with a light and leave it on all night as it will drain battery to much and then the charger will no longer charge them so I always switch it out once I get down to one battery bar

This set of two adapters will fit on many Dewalt 20V battery types. The fit is snug and tight between the adapter and battery. Each adapter has two 12 AWG power lead wires (black and red) with the positive red lead having a built in fuse holder. There is also an On/Off toggle switch built into the adapter body. The kit also contains six fuses and two quick wire connectors. Note this is not for recharging the battery! The adapters do not alter the output voltage at the power leads and can fit a number of different Dewalt 20V batteries.Would recommend this to anyone.

They are not thin plastic, rather they seem very durable and made to last. 12 gauge silicone covered copper wire with fuse holders that are quality also, not thin. The only thing that someone might miss are holes for mounting on something but that is easy to figure out how to do it. The spst switch is rated 10A @125V and that is for switching so a continuous load current should go a good bit higher at low V. The Dewalt batteries can put 30-60 amps easy so be careful with shorts.I got these so I can use some of my dewalt batteries for backup purposes to power a myriad of devices around here. Simple buck converters can make 5V or 12V out of the 20V or go with boost if you need more. I can also fix my old dyson (dc16) vac to use these batteries as I cannot find an adapter to fit it.One word of caution is that neither the batteries nor this adaptor contain a "low voltage cut out", that part is left up to the dewalt device. Therefore if you do not want to ruin your battery then do not run your battery below 16V (1 light on the battery >~16.08V). Either be vigilant or add a cut out (easily found on amazon).Overall good adapter.

This is the second set of these that I've acquired. The first set was put to immediate use. These are the kind of thing that I need to keep a "spare" available for adhoc projects.I recently standardized on Dewalt-style 20V rechargeable battery packs. I needed a way to get power from the battery packs into my various projects. This fused, switched battery pack adapter gives me a simple two lead power source interface.

Used this adapter for my 4 year olds power wheel. He's got an older, slow dump truck, that even when we replaced the battery, still crawled along. This was very easy to install, and once set up, the truck was significantly faster; at least triple the speed it originally was.Just be ready for it to launch your kiddo if you use if for a power wheel vehicle; make sure they're ready for it.
