Excellent pan
Good quality pan. Lucky I got the large size as some said it is too small for the smaller size. Sturdy construction and ergonomic. Works perfectly on my gas stove. The Tamagoyaki can be cooked evenly and made the best shape I want.

Cute and practical little pan - but get a wide spatula too
Bought. this to make tamagoyaki - Japanese rolled omelettes - after watching one too many tiktok bento lunch videos and I have no regrets. It's theoretically a one-job pan but it's the perfect size for a slice of bread so I guess you could use it for French toast too? Anyway, it doesn't take up much space and it's just so cute. And yes, it makes perfect rolled omelettes! It's lightweight, brilliantly non-stick and works great on my induction hob. Make sure you buy a matching wide spatula as well, for optimum omelette-rolling ease.

Quality Tamagoyaki pan, heats up evenly
Good quality, bigger than I had hoped and perfect for my Japanese omelettes. Sturdy construction and ergonomic. Works perfectly even on my large burner on low so I am more than satisfied with this pan. I searched many sites and styles of Tamagoyaki pans but was most taken with the specifics if this one and I particularly like the aubergine colour! But the base is the best as it heats very evenly. I only used it once as yet but so far I am very pleased with my choice. Time will tell how it will stand up to use but I think I made the right choice in any case. I used 4 eggs but I think it will be suitable for 6.

Tamagoyakitastic
I was very impressed with the quality of this pan. I was able to make a rolled omelette on my first attempt without too much difficulty. It wasn't perfect by any means, but considerably easier than using one of the traditional copper pans. Would also serve as a general frying pan without any problems.[EDIT] Two and a half years on and I'm still impressed with this pan.It is now also my goto pan for fried eggs which cook perfectly with little or no oil.You can flip them easily because it has a sloped end. It's still a pretty purple colour. No problems with the non-stick coating. It looks as if it's designed for induction (and the reviews say it works) but I use it on a normal gas stove.I got the 'large' one. I guess they call it large because it would use up a fair few eggs to make a full Japanese omelette 8" square, but it's just the normal tamo pan size or maybe a little smaller than normal. Way easier to use than a traditional pan.

Excellent but check the size carefully.
Medium is much smaller than I expected but that's my own fault for not reading the description and reviews more carefully. The build quality is excellent, a robust piece of kitchen equipment. Made a tamagoyaki just after receiving the pan and it does a good job of it. I'll be ordering the large size as the medium really only makes a single-person omelette unless you're making it as a side. I'm happy with this.

Splendid pan
I agree with the reviewer who said that this ended up as the most used pan in the kitchen. Although designed for Vietnamese omelettes, successfully so, it is brilliant for a slice of fried bread and a fried egg, while the bacon cooks in the microwave. All ready in just a few minutes . Its small small size is its great point. Rinsed and put away in a moment. Very sturdy construction. Good stuff!

Favourite pan
This is the best pan in my house, it's sturdy, non stick and works beautifully with my induction hob. Rolled omelette is now my favourite lunch and I've also used it for rolled crepes, I'd definitely recommend those, delicious. There was a wide spatula suggested with it which i didn't get but now i wish i had as it would make starting the roll easier.I did waver over which size to buy but the little one is perfect. Saying that I'm going to get the large one too because the pan is just so well made its a pleasure to use.

Great little pan
Fancied trying to make tamagoyaki so ordered this pan as it was reasonably priced. Didn't have any ingredients other than eggs when it arrived but thought I would have a try. They came out brilliantly! Easy to roll up, just use a silicon spatula so it doesn't scratch. I used a tiny bit of oil and nothing stuck. My new favourite purchase.
