My 5yr old grandson is totally engrossed
He has assembled, disassembled and reassembled with huge concentration - it is slightly above his age range and he has immersed himself in it.

Lego - Great for kids and adults alike
Great Lego set, for children and adults. As with all Lego, it does come with instructions on how to build the base, but you can let your imagination run wild.

Everyone knows lego
You get what you expect from lego it's great, strong and a pain to stand on. I have always found these packs to be over priced and this one is no different.

Large set with multiple vehicles and pieces to play with for hours
I ordered this set for my 7 year old nephew and it really does have everything, it comes with multiple vehicles which are a police car, ambulance, and a helicopter. It also has a building (which is the emergency services' base) and a tree that is on fire! It also comes with a piece of road which is a nice touch to really complete the look. My nephew is still fairly new to lego so he needed a little bit of assistance so it took me and him about 2 hours to build it all together. With it being Lego you just know that this set is going to withstand the tests of time, it's durable, hard-wearing, and is not going to break easily (although you may lose a few pieces over time!!).At the time of writing this set is £39.99 which I think is actually quite reasonable, it's a very large set and I've paid much more for smaller sets in the past.Overall this is a brilliant set for the price and I'd highly recommend it to anyone considering making a purchase.

A great Lego set which will encourage creative play
This Lego City Emergency Vehicles and HQ Set is brilliant, it consists of 706 pieces which make up the HQ building, a Police SUV, a very sporty looking ambulance, a helicopter and a mountain bike. Putting all this together isn’t too difficult for the age range, the instructions are very good but Mum or Dad may be needed for a bit of guidance at the lower end of the age scale. There’s a decent amount of detail on the assembled items, the HQ has a control room with computer screens, solar panels on the roof, it even has a restroom with tv and coffee maker - there is a helipad on roof for the helicopter. The rear doors of the ambulance open so that you can get a stretcher in, the doors open and the cab roof comes off so that you can put a figure in. The top of the Police SUV comes off, this is so that you can put the driver in - any prisoner can go in the back. The helicopter looks very sleek, the tail rotor spins freely but the main rotor doesn’t - which is a shame. The canopy opens so that you can put the pilot in.The figures that you get in the set are a Policeman, a Paramedic, a helicopter pilot, a robber and a lady. This is a great set for encouraging creative play - yet another fantastic offering from Lego - highly recommended.
