The chain break was broken. It cost more to send it back than get a new one.

This saw is a beast! Had a lot of doubt about it at first but I've put it through the ringer and it ALWAYS comes through. Been using it Monday-Friday for the past 5 weeks as my go to for a bigger saw. The 36in bar is perfect for felling bigger trees and making base cuts on stumps/trunks.I've noticed it starts easily at the beginning of the day though after putting it through some tough work and then letting it cool off she can be hard to start. I've found that if it's hard to start press the decompression button, chain brake engaged, switch set to on, and hold the trigger while you pull start it from the ground usually gets her going when it's a hard start.I've noticed the chain oiler will occasionally get clogged. That's something to watch out for. It does vibrate more than a stihil 661 but it's not something I would worry about. Very manageable.Holzfforma makes their saws from refurbished Stihl parts. She's been a great saw and payed for herself a few times already. Hope to get as much life out of her as possible.Lots of potential for the money. Would buy again! Very durable saw.
