My tortoises love this stuff, as do I! I use it with orchid bark and it creates a forest floor type terrain.

This mat was exactly what we wanted. Easy to use. Good quality. Unfortunately our tortoise didn't like it so we've had to remove it and replace with chippings.

Laying this on the enclosure floor before putting my tortoises soil on top of it keeps it easier to clean out but need to remember tortoises burrow so need to put enough soil on top so they can still burrow.

I laid this product at the bottom of the enclosure before adding soil on top. This was purchased to protect the bottom of the wooden enclosure. Seemed fine at first but over the coming days strands started appearing on top of the soil. After a week the strands were everywhere and became a nuisance to my tortoise with strands sticking up getting in his eyes. I had to remove the ground sheet and replace all the soil. I have since thrown the 2nd sheet away.
