great little caliper for around the shop or house, I would not say its machinist accurate, but it is pretty accurate. For the price you cannot go wrong plus it even includes extra batteries. its metal and feels solid not cheap. it comes in a nice little case for storage. very simple and easy to use.l

I saw this tool when looking at watches on line that everyone seemed to be using to show the watch face measurement. I assumed it was some expensive tool for watch collectors. Looked it up on Amazon and it was only about $8. I am not a collector but have a few watches and like to buy certain sizes. Bought this and it works great, very simple to use, seems well made, came with batteries and a regular old tape measure so you can measure your wrist as well. So far very impressed, worked exactly as I expected it to right out of the box. Also has a nice little plastic case for storage.

What did I do without this handy tool. I am really impressed with this measuring tool and for the price it works great. I take photos of jewelry for my online business and this gives me accuracy of measurements with different measurement options.

Purchased this device as a replacement for my previous metal calipers. Wanted this (plastic caliper) device to prevent scratching of material being handled. Works as expected. Spare batteries were included. Easy to use... Just reposition the caliper and the display turns on. You can press the on/off button to turn unit off or just allow it to time out - the display will turn off after a period of time with no motion of the caliper. Giving 4 stars instead of 5 simply because the storage container is difficult to properly close and latch.

A great, affordable digital caliper overall. It isn’t as accurate as more expensive options, but for the price, it is everything you could need. As stated in the description, it only measures to one decimal point. It seems to be built of plastic, and the buttons work, but don’t feel great. It is very ease to slide and move around, and it has a professional look overall. Another useful feature is that it automatically turns off when you aren’t using it.

Upscaled my caliper to this beauty. Works great, comes with a case, extra batteries and a measuring tape! Sweet!

This caliper measures very easily. The caliper comes with a battery installed and 3 extra batteries. It comes in a clear plastic hinged storage case. Additionally in the case comes with a tape measure. Even though the caliper measures to 6 inches, it is 8" longto allow for the digital head. The caliper comes with an on/off switch, a zero out switch and a button for switching between metric and inches. This is an excellent device. I will be using this for crafts, but will re-order to have one in the toolbox. The back says the material it is made of is called carbon fiber composite. Which should make it durable. This is a definite buy.

Really solid tool. The case is perfect and holds extra batteries, as well. Very intuitive and easy to use. Only note is that you have to pull the little piece of white paper to use it for the first time. This is in place to safeguard batteries while the digital caliper is being shipped. Just FYI, in case anyone wasn’t sure. I’m super happy with my purchase!
