I like how quick it Shredded and how quiet it is. He price is good and it doesn't take to much space. I which the disposable bin take more papers.

Fast, Quiet-ish and Great for High Volume
I moved last year and decided to scan all my paper files using a high speed scanner and shred them myself afterward. I’ve had shredders before but this is the best! You can put a giant stack in this thing and walk away and do other things. Once in a while, after it has been shredding for a while, you will have to shift the shreds and push them down… just like any other shredder. But this one is really high capacity. I don’t try to use liners cuz, when it’s full, a 35 gallon trash bag fits perfectly over the top and you can just turn the bin over and empty into it and the bag can be tied in a knit at the top so the shreds don’t spill out. I had at least 7 or 8 trash bags full of paper to shred and got them all done during my spare time in a week. Spend a little extra money and get this one. You won’t regret it.

Very loud when shredding
It works fine but struggles to shred 2 or 3 shots at the same time

Doesn't always work but company suggested I return the product. Good Company!
Arrived fast. But, every time I attempt to use this shredder, the Overload light comes on and the shredder will not accept paper. Doesn't matter if I put one piece of paper in or three pieces of paper. If I press the Forward/Reverse then Forward button again, it will run the paper through. When it works, it's great. But, I'm afraid this will stop working. Also note, this box had been opened and re-taped prior to getting to me. The packing inside was appeared to be a repack. Was this someone else's return?

Crap! Seriously, I kept it too long hoping this HOME OFFICE use shredder would suffice
I purchased this 2 months ago. I realized right away that that it was not the ROYAL SF910 that had lasted me for so long and served me so very well. But hey, it was $50 less and it was an HP... How could I go wrong?Beings as these things are not as easy to return as, say shoes or gloves... I sucked it up and accepted that this was not as strong and efficient as my ROYAL had been. But I kept finding myself putting less and less sheets in, at any given time... Nope! Even this was not enough. Now it sounds like it is on its last leg, and it is only a lightly used home paper shredder. Heck, I only shred the portion of the mail that has my personal info on it, not the entirety of the mail! Oh, and the bin is rather small!!!I love HP. They should stay away from shredders!

HP Microcut Shredder
I bought this shredder to shred lots of old files. Don’t be in a hurry to get rid of those files you’ve been holding onto because this isn’t the shredder you will need. After about ten minutes of constant shredding it overheats and shuts off. I liked the idea of the waste bin but you better have a vacuum handy because it will leave shreds of paper in the bottom when you remove the bin to empty it. I also recommend getting some paper shredders oil. That does help keep the shredder from jamming up. This shredder is good for small jobs just not lots of shredding. It is easy to use and not very loud.
