D100 is hollow and allows air to flow through it. D200 is solid.

How does the base of the bristles? Does it have pointy ending that hairs can be caught in? or is is slik ?

No the bristles do not have pointy ends.Its a comfortable brush to use.Would definitely recommend.Hope this is helpful to you.
