Disguise Men's Nintendo Super Mario Bros.Mario Adult Accessory Kit

A few things to note about this product: 1) Looks great. I mean it's not: 'Total nerd spent 7 weeks creating my cosplay - good'. But it's definitely: 'I wanted to go as mario to a costume party - good' 2) Came Wrinkled - The hat was pretty mashed in the box, I stuffed it with plastic grocery bags a few days before I wore it (to get its shape back). Then used a hair dryer to 'iron' out the wrinkles. Worked good. The gloves were also wrinkled, I was going to iron them but decided I didn't care. 3) Fit - I am a big guy (6'3 280lbs) and this stuff fit perfectly. * HAT - I have a huge head (Size 8+), like.. didn't get to wear mickey ears as a kid 'big head,' and I had no problem wearing this hat. * Gloves- I also normally wear XL gloves (like XL mechanix gloves, and XL latex gloves), and these gloves fit just fine. Probably would fit larger hands. * Mustache - It stayed on all night, it was very large, but fit the mario part. I even took it on and off several times so I could eat (it goes over your bottom lip so its difficult to eat). I kept the bottom 1/4" of liner on the mustache so that it wouldn't keep stickign to my bottom lip. Conclusion: Overall the quality was great for the price. Don't expect to win Cosplay awards (if your into that kinda thing), but for a weekend costume party it's perfect. If you are a large individual (big head and hands) this stuff will fit great. However, if you are a small person, I might try and go with the child size, or at least be prepared to stuff the hat and safety pin it to your head.

I really need to know why Disgust make costume so dam cheap and not right. I ordered this kit for my son who was fire Mario for Con. I bought it mainly for the gloves. The hat and the mustache were not used. The gloves were too large. They were too large for me. Also, the gloves are just in a weird shape. In addition, Mario gloves doesn't look this way! It is worth it? probably not, but what is better out there?

Great for a costume party

Pros: Delivered super quick! Looks just like actual Mario's hat, mustache, and gloves. The adhesive on the mustache is really good stuff. This mustache stayed on for the duration of 2 costume parties- 4 hours each. Even with all the smiling and picture taking, this mustache never lost its grip. The gloves are awesome and comfortable to wear. They add just that perfect touch to complete any mario costume! Cons: Condition upon arrival. This item was smushed into a box that was really too small for the item. It caused the hat to get bent and mis-shapen; HOWEVER, I was able to fix it for the most part by fluffing it in the dryer for a few minutes (no more than 10 min). Mustache is really big. My fiancé has a small space between his nose and upper lip, so the Mustache covered and stuck to both his top and bottom lips. Lol. BUT, it wasn't so unbearable that he couldn't stand wearing it for the duration of the 2 parties we attended on 2 different days. If you are going to drink, use a straw... And it will have to be removed for eating; but don't fear, it will stick back on for the long haul!

This arrived within 24 hours of ordering. Super greatful. Perfect for my son's Italian day at school. We had to alter the gloves, but that was a given as this was adults, but was last min purchase, and had to work with what we had. We were super happy with it all.
