Yigal Mesika's Elastics - Invisible Thread

It's always useful to have this stuff to mess around with. I tend not to perform these tricks, but they're fun to try and figure out how a certain TV magician does his effects. Even if you won't perform them it's useful to have as you might come up with something that fits your routine if you play with it enough.

Just simply amazing what you can do with this product, the tricks are endless and the shocking effect that can be produced if worked correctly is what every person wants to see. This will really improve the magic you are already producing already! Practice well and you will master the art of levitation in days.

Fantastic product.A definite for amateur and professional magicians. Personally, I used the thread in a mentalism routine. I did not use the dispenser that the thread came in, instead I just took out the thread as I found the cutter on the dispenser to be quite dull and incapable of cutting the thread properly.Other than the container, perfect quality and product

First up the product is not complicated, IET as a product is complicated in general. The small 'dispenser', that is quite a rich word for it, is semi-useful but potentially lethal to the product. By it's nature it's a small plastic (cheaply made I should add) box with a hole in, and inside a spool of elastic thread is unceremoniously dumped. As a result of this lazy 'slap it in the box' housing, any thread pulled by a single end strand over about 40cm (it will stretch, so this is a fair approximation,) will be severely stressing the part that clears the plastic box. It WILL snap as a result, so tack down the end and pull thread closer from the housing. This work-around should not be necessary for such a convulted, top range product.There is a small metal protrusion from the top of the case to elegantly wrap the thread line around. Don't use it, it's slick and will fire the thread back into the 'dispenser'. Use blu-tack or wax to mark and maintain the end of the thread.Overall the thread itself is fantastic, strong in many rig forms and perfect for loops naturally, but I'm rating this product down based on it's premium price and well conceived yet poorly executed dispenser.

This elastics are amazing, i was scared because everybody says that they break easily. I did not used wax and first loop worked without problem for 10min (40 levitations) second loop 100 levitations and still works!!! (i have never used it before) They are thiner than hair.

this is good stuff if you know how to use it. you need to be experienced with this stuff. i use it for the for haunted deck routine and its perfect. i recommend this to any magician into floating or moving light objects on a table.
