Great value for the price
Great little tool. Easy to use and holds up. Have used it multiple times and still works great.

VERY SHARP AND EFFECTIVE. I like it when stuff just works.
Worked great on 2 new shower drain installations (remodeling both bathrooms at the same time). Only took a minute to get the hang of it, then it SLICED through the rest of the pipe like buttah. Whole job only took a few minutes. The blade is perfectly sized to cut through the wall of the pipe but without touching the inside of the shower pan drain. Just right.Friendly tip for the DIY novice that's never used one of these before: stuff a towel or wadded newspaper into the drain before cutting to catch all the debris, hold the drill with cutter bit attached FIRMLY in one spot inside the drain pipe (just slightly above the drain pipe gasket seal ring) and apply light pressure inwards to let the blade SLOWLY sink into the plastic until it cuts all the way through (if it jams and the blade loosens, just stop and tighten the blade and try again), then simply work the blade around the inside of the pipe clockwise until you make it back to the starting point, then vacuum it out, then remove towel to keep your new drain clean while doing this dirty job.The blade does tend to loosen and spin freely if it jams in the plastic, but it's easily and quickly fixed by simply tightening the screw and you're back in business. Another reviewer called it worthless for this issue. Apparently he doesn't know how to use a phillips screwdriver? Grow up, dude. This is a simple and expensive, yet perfectly effective tool. A superior design would double or triple the price. Someone who may only use this once or twice or occasionally should not hesitate to purchase if they can cope with tightening a blade now and then.

Worked, but bounced and chattered a bit
I bought this thing to cut out a PVC shower drain pipe from the top. It bounced and chattered a whole lot, and I was really worried that it was wrecking the inside of the pipe, but when I was done the inside of the pipe looked fine. This is one of those special-purpose tools that when you need it, you really need it.

Good price and works well
Works perfect for trimming the 3" pipe for a toilet so you can attach the flange. Highly recommend.

Worked great!
To build a bathroom in my basement, I needed to cut both the toilet and shower ABS drain pipes (4βand 2β respectively) below the surface of the concrete. This little cutter did the job on both of them. I may have dulled it a bit against the concrete, but it saved me from breaking out and re-pouring a bunch of concrete to cut the pipes from the outside. For the price, even if this thing only worked for one job, it would be well worth it. It now lives in the random plumbing tools drawer.

Nice
Worked great for cutting 2β pipe mounted through slab.

Slick as a whistle
I needed to cut a 3" diameter PVC shower drain pipe that was surrounded by a concrete to about 2" below the level of the slab. Couldn't have done it without this tool. I fashioned a guide that made the job extra easy. The main shaft is 1/2" diameter and took a 3" by 3" scrap of plywood and drilled a 1/2" hole through the center. I placed the shaft of the tool through the plywood "donut" and stacked washers between the donut and the drill to get the proper 2" spacing I needed between the blade and the donut. The donut rested against the existing top of the PVC pipe and kept the cutting blade at just the right level. Nice even cut. Took maybe 60 seconds to do the job once I had it set up. The blade did loosen once, but I tightened the screw using pliers (which seemed to work better than a screw driver). I could have used the tool freehand but the homemade guide made it a no-brainer.

Binds
I purchased this to cut the PVC pipe for my shower drain. Since the drain locks from the bottom of the shower pan, I would have to cut a hole in the ceiling to access the drain and remove the lock nut. I was hoping this blade would allow me to remove the shower pan without cutting the ceiling. It partially worked. I tried cutting through into one area and then go around the pipe as shown on youtube videos. Once I broke through, the saw blade binded and would not rotate. I had to remove the blade out of the pipe and try again. After several tries, I attempted to cut a shallow groove along the entire pipe and go deeper with each rotation. The blade would pop in and out, binding here and there. Eventually I got the shower pan out, but not because the pipe was cut through. The vibration of the cutting caused the pipe to release from the drain. The pipe was only cut through in a few spots.
