Good product for its value!
Easy install and very good product for the cost. Still running it with no issues. I'm happy with it and it looks good to. It might be cheap compared to other thermostats but it don't look like it's cheap.

Pros: Cheap, backlight, works well Cons: Menu options, Setup, batteries needed
I noticed something weird setting up the day schedules in that I couldn't set both Mon-Fri to start at 12am, and again on Sat-Sun. I could set Mon-Fri that way, but Saturday the earliest I could set was 6am. You'll have to start both schedules at no earlier than 6am or have a minimum gap of 6hrs 15min between schedules from weekday to weekend..... where the assumption is it will keep the previous schedule until the first run time 6am+, though I hadn't yet verified. Very odd since my 20 year old digital thermostat will set both schedules at 12am no problem. The Amazon advert showed a red logo on the front of the device, but when I received it the logo is gray, and much less noticeable.

Easy to install, easy to program
The unit was very easy to install, even came with mounting screws and anchors. While one of the buttons in programming is not intuitive, it is explained well in the manual. Once you know this, it is very easy to program. The time zones are well labeled - it prompts you for a temp and time for awakening, for after you leave, for returning home and for sleep. If, like me, you don't leave the house much on the weekends, you can just set the two daytime ones to the same temperature. It has an option for shorter or longer cycle times. I am pretty sure it defaults to short. Getting up to a room that is not freezing in the morning is worth the price! Not to mention the savings by lowering the temp at night and when you aren't there.

I love it
When I moved into my apartment three years ago, I had the hardest time getting the temperature to set where I needed it because it was the dial gage. I asked the apartment manager if I could change it to a different one, and she said that it would be okay and all I had to do was to put in a work order and maintenance would put it in. After, it can in and maintenance put it in, I loved it. I can set the temperature to my comfort and not worry if it is working or not.

Old two wire homes will have questions, slow/inaccurate room temp, no idea what FAST or SLOW cycle settings actually mean.
Room temp is WAY off and takes a very long time to adjust anyway. It's 25 degrees here is Pennsylvania right now and it took an hour to go from 66 to 53 then I gave up. Ruins the precise 1 degree advantage over the older THERMOSTATS that are usually +3/-3 degrees. Of course, a quick, accurate room temp is mandatory. I bought a thermometer on Amazon that takes temperature in one second. Why don't these digital THERMOSTATS have that kind of accuracy? When talking about 69° vs 67°, the room temp has to be quick and right on. As a result, my furnace kicked on and off several times a MINUTE (called a cycle). USUALLY, according to Google, 5 to 6 CYCLES an HOUR is normal. I counted 4 times a minute more than once before I removed it. Furnaces can't take this many "clicks" on and off. Risk of being the furnace, or worse, a fire. There IS a setting on the system to set to Fast cycling or SLOW.. But they don't say what it means. Every other THERMOSTAT can be set to a number of cycles (even the analog plastic or mercury ones). Manual days off neither fast nor slow fits, call an electrician. Ok, that's $150. Just be careful if you have the old school, 2 wire hones with the big furnaces. The combination of fast cycle setting and the incorrect room temp spells bad news. Out of the box, most are set to 5 or 6 cycles per HOUR. Not this one,or it is the bad/slow/inaccurate room thermometer- Or a combo of both. Go with another one if you have older wiring (one white, one red). This is what it looks like on the inside (see pic). It comes pre-installled with the red jumper wire from red heat to red cold ("?" shows pre-approval installed jumper). It's really for new climate control Central air systems. What # of cycles per hour is FAST vs. SLOW? No idea. Lots of guesswork that can cause damage to your heating system. The 1970s

Home heating system
I like that this one was able to replace my 50+ year old system. Installation was easy! It doesn’t require WiFi and it is programmable to set for either heat or air conditioning to go up at whatever temperature and time you choose. The timing wasn’t as easy to understand . The back light is dimmer than I’d like and not as expected but overall it’s a great product for easy replacement of any kind of older system.

Great simple thermostat
Hooking your thermostat to Wi-Fi not for me. We have a boiler/hot water heat which is not made to go on and off frequently. It goes on heats the radiators and then turns off for awhile. Radiators hold the heat much longer than forced air. This gives me all the control I need. I don't need to monitor from afar. Lights up when needing to change and then it's off. For the money this is great. Works as it should. Offers nice features and yet simple to use. No app needed.

It works fine now.
I bought this one on price alone. Yes it is cheap but thats what I was looking for, my old thermostat was broken and I wanted to go to wifi thermostat system for my house as I have 4 thermostats. Three for zone heating and one for the house a/c. The real problem with this unit was the short cycles it was doing. Every couple of minutes i heard it turning on or off and was ready to return it when saw on the back of the thermostat there is a switch for electric and gas. Mine was in the electric position so I moved it over to gas and that fixed it. No more short cycles. I only bought this because i needed a quick fix and new i would not be using this very long. It works fine now.

This is a good thermostat
I like this thermostat. Very easy install, replacing a White Rodgers thermostat that has very similar features. Controls to 1/2 degree rather than 1 degree as per the WR model. Some of the text display could be larger. The backup batteries are visible with the door open which is good so you don't forget to change them but would rather not see them if the door is left open. I like the blue back lite however when it is on the display contrast is not as good unless you are looking at a downward angle. I used a shim to tilt the device at a downward angle which helps. Being taller also would be an advantage or mounting it lower would work. Overall I would buy it again as the price was very good and so is the oveŕall operation .

Works great on a 12v system for a RV propane heater.
I used this on my van conversion using an RV propane heater on a 12v system. It works great, is simple to use, pretty accurate for the temperature and quite easy to install with all of the instructions.

Did not work out of box
Dead on arrival, tried to return and requested a refund but Amazon never refunded me. Don’t let yourself get robbed too!

Noisey
The constant clicking sound when it turns on and off can get on your nerves. You can change the setting from FA to SA (slower intervals), but the clicking noise is still there. For the price its a good deal.
