The cream itself is lightweight and non-greasy, which I appreciate. It absorbs quickly into the skin and doesn't leave any residue behind. The texture is smooth and luxurious, making it a pleasure to apply.As for its effectiveness, I'd say it's moderately successful in improving the appearance of my skin. It's definitely helped to keep my skin hydrated and soft, but I haven't noticed any dramatic improvements in terms of reducing fine lines and wrinkles. That being said, I do think it's helped to even out my skin tone slightly.One thing I appreciate about this cream is that it's free from preservatives, fragrances, and alcohol, which makes it a great option for those with sensitive skin. I haven't experienced any irritation or adverse reactions since starting to use it.Overall, while the ALPHASCIENCE REGEN[HX] Cream isn't a miracle worker, it's still a solid choice for those looking for a gentle, moisturizing cream that won't irritate their skin.

I decided to test this ALPHASCIENCE REGEN [HX] Cream on one specific scar on my face (for one full month) to see how well it worked.I have seen a VERY minimal difference in my facial scar. I mean, a little difference, but nothing crazy for the price (55 at time of review) and for how long I’ve been using it for.I’ll continue using until I finish and if I see a bigger difference, I will come back and update my review. But for the price, I definitely thought I’d see more of a difference by now..

This 1.014 fluid ounce tube of ALPHASCIENCE Regen HX cream arrived in cellophane wrapped box. The label, which is printed in a number of languages, provides product information, directions, ingredient list, lot number, expiration date, origin and company details. The product is made in France.The cream is formulated to comfort and regenerate the skin via targeted ingredients, such as snail mucin, (2nd ingredient) 5% helicine complex, 3% hyaluronic acid, and glycerine, plus assorted botanicals, oils and extracts, etc. It is unscented and alcohol free. I could find no reference to snail mucin mentioned on the Amazon product page, which is somewhat surprising as it is the 2nd item on the ingredient list shown on the box.In my opinion this "cream" is more like a serum, but regardless I do like the product. It does not have as much "slip" as other snail mucin products I use, which I actually appreciate, as I am not a fan of really slippery feeling facial treatments. After application of this watery thin cream and/or serum, my skin felt very soft and smooth, with a matte appearance.In general I usually find French skin care products to be high quality and this perfecting cream formula does include ingredients that should address stated concerns. It is of course too soon to realize potential benefits, as I have only been using the cream for a few days, however I can say that the product did not irritate my mature, somewhat sensitive, combination skin.The tube is not large and the price at the time of this review is, for me at least, on the higher end, but only a small amount is needed for each application, so I am hopeful that the tube will last several months.

This cream does have some redeeming qualities that I like about it; It's free of added fragrance, soothing, and highly hydrating. It works well to keep the skin of scars soft and elastic without any irritation.However, I disagree with the claims that this product will do anything to actually improve the appearance of scars. I have multiple scars due to surgical procedures; One very recent one, one from three years ago, and one from two years ago. I began using the product on all of my scars once the newest was safe enough to do so, and I haven't seen any improvements to the older ones, nor any improvements to the newest that couldn't be attributed to healing and general moisturizing.Due to this, I feel that this product really isn't a good value. If it was a general mid-range moisturizer, this would be different, because I do feel like it'd work well for that purpose. However, I wouldn't reorder this product as a scar treatment product, since it doesn't really do much in that department.

I recently had a third hand surgery, which left me with severe scars on my dominant hand. I’ve been using this serum to reduce the appearance of the scars, and I’m hoping to see improvements as the weeks progress.I do feel that the price point is a bit high. Only time will tell if the results are worth the cost. I will update my review accordingly after some time!

This cream is very gentle after using a peeling treatment. It is soothing and reduced the redness in my usual areas. It does feel lightly hydrating. I would layer this under a thicker cream for night, though. My skin felt soothed and comfortable - not tight like it can get.I did not feel a cooling effect - not more so than other creams. However, this could be refrigerated for that effect.This cream has a plastic kind of scent - reminds me of that blue putty we used to hang stuff on apartment walls instead of using nails.
