It gives you a lot of thin small curls if that's your style but thicker or more controlled styles is not achievable with this pomade

I have naturally curly hair, I’m Hispanic and my hair can be unruly, this product leaves my hair soft and shiny, and a little hours a long way.

Someone sampled this before it was sent to me. I received a jar with no seal. When I opened it, I saw finger scoops where someone took out a handful before it was sent to me. You can even see someone else's fingerprints! I'm pretty sure someone returned it, then it was sent to me without anyone checking it. I returned it and got a new jar. The second jar arrived with the lid off and loose in the packaging, but nobody used it yet, so that's an upgrade. Just take note of that before you order. The product itself is a thick petroleum-based paste. Solid at room temperature, with the consistency of petroleum jelly. It smells amazing and seems to hold hair well. Being an petroleum oil-based product, I wouldn't use too much at once, and be sure to clean your hair with a proper clarifying shampoo. I'll give the product 3 stars overall. It works and smells great, but it is a bit greasy and heavy.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I should have read the description better. I thought I was purchasing Cantu cream pomade but purchased this instead. I believe it’s petroleum based and not the same texture or feel, but it works great with less product needed. I’m not sure which I’ll purchase next time, but I’m not disappointed with my mistake.
