Everyone can follow those recipes
Great book. Lots of easy and very tasty recipes. (Some of my favourites). This book is for my son who will love it I am sure. It’s great to have pictures as it’s nice to see what the end result should look like.

A great book - although I am not sure it needs to be restricted to "teens"
This is a really good book - when they say teen, really this book is aimed at anyone who has the desire to get into a bit of cooking, but perhaps lacks the skills or confidence to attempt complicated dishes. There are good pictures and the recipes in the book are easy to follow. You might have assumed as a "teen"cookbook it's more focused on things like upmarket beans on toast, but actually it's got some pretty impressive dishes in there, such as spiced duck breast pancakes. A few shortcuts are taken, like not making the pancakes from scratch - but that's welcomed by most people. In summary - a great book but have no idea why this is a "teen" cookbook.

Excellent, 5*
I bought this cookbook for my sons 13th birthday(April 2021) I’m doing a 13 things beginning with the first letter of his name. He loves books, I’ve lost count how many he’s got. With him becoming a teenager, I wanted to get a book that’ll help him in life, thus cookbook is ideal! I love the fact it’s got the whole meal selection for throughout the day(breakfast, lunch etc). Honestly I think this is such a good idea for teenagers!

Very useful
It was a gift for my grandson and I had a sneaky peak. Thought the recipes were very clearly illustrated and easy to understand. Ideal for teens and others who don't claim to be cordon bleu cooks.

Good recipes, nice book
One godson loves this, the other won't open it. However, I looked through it and was very impressed with recipes, lay-out and photos. Not too simple or too technical, and a good selection of dishes. Excellent starter for teenagers, and will ensure they do not have to rely on junk food.

Dated but good recipes
I really liked the sound of this recipe book which I bought for my 15 year old grandson. The recipes are good but the photos are so dated. They really look early 2000s when it was published. Wrong haircuts and clothes etc. These things matter to teenagers. The trouble with buying online is you don't look inside. I don't know why the author and publishers don't find a way of updating it.

Easy to follow
My son loves it. He's 12 and finds it easy to follow and has made some lovely dishes from it. Tonight he's making the sausage and mash with onion gravy.
