A really good set of needles to learn with for beginners
I've just started knitting after mastering crochet, and these needles are perfect for beginners who need something slightly more 'grippy' than the standard slippery metal knitting needles you remember your grandma having. This set comes with just about every size you could possibly need, bound in an attractive cotton carrier. I've used about 4 different sizes to polish off various bits of beginner work, and the wool nicely stays in place between stitches. As these are bamboo it's worth checking over each needle to make sure that they are nice and smooth (the finishing on a couple of needles could've been better but it's easily remedied if you find any rough bits, just gently pick or sand them off. Good price for a set like this too, particularly if you're just starting out, trying to work out if you're going to enjoy knitting, and don't want to spend a fortune on your new hobby.

Really nice to work with. Some of the best I have used since switching from metal ones.
Already have the 25cm length set. Really nice to work with. So thought I would get these. Mind you it would be really nice if they did a set of 30cm too because sometimes when you have work that needs longer than the 25cm but shorter than 34cm they can be a bit unwieldy. Still glad I got them though. Ease of hold: Good for arthritic fingers Value for money: Considering you can get a full set, with a carry case and good feel when knitting, against the cost of single pair of Knit Pro, what would you choose.

Flimsy fine needles
Nice set but finer needles are flimsy. I couldn’t see the sizes of the needles, poorly marked having to indelible marker them.

Great value for money
I recently bought these needles because I wanted to get back to knitting after not doing anything for a while. I have an elbow injury, so one of the things I look for is lightweight needles. These are quite nice - the bamboo is quite sturdy, although of course the smaller gauge ones are more fragile (so take care with them). The size is clearly displayed on each needle. The only thing I don't quite like is the fact that they seem a bit too long, but then again, this might be useful if you plan on working on larger projects. Since they aren't heavy, all you need to do is adjust to the different size. The needles come carefully wrapped in a cotton encasement, which is a definite plus - it's not a flashy or expensive encasement, but it's very nice if you have no place to safely keep them. This is, really, what made me decide on this item, since I was undecided between these needles and another manufacturer's, who didn't offer any type of encasement.

Nice to work with
These needles are really good quality for the price. They are nothing pro, but I'm not a professional knitter so I'm happy with them. I didn't give 5 starts only because the smaller sizes are very delicate (I believe it's because of the length of the needles). The bigger sizes though (from UK size 6) are comfortable.
